My partner wants to deepen our FLR but is unsure of the best way forward.

We would appreciate some suggestions on the best books to read on the subject, from the Female perspective.
I would want her to develop her own way forwards with me and allow her to research things independently of me.

I've only really heard of books by Ingrid Bellemar but don't know if those are appropriate as a reccomendation.

I have read multiple. Some are good...some I cant relate too.

Have you thought about how deep you want the FLR to be? There are authors that write from a dominance view that to me can seem more "scene" things then lifestyles. Then there are some that write more what seems a "mid relationship" where they have been doing FLR for awhile .

There is a series I read from Janice Parker where her spouse has become her fulltime maid. Ignoring the "maid" role for a moment, the FLR part seems really genuine in their relationship.

My partner is a Domme and has some sadistic tendencies. I would say she would wish to progress towards the deeper end...

A great book for all male submissives to read, Finding Love Though Female Domination, Ms Renee Lane, another one is 150 Years of Gynarchy or The Pillars of Gynarchy or Get in loser, we're smashing the Patriarchy written by Viola Voltairine. We have all very helpful.

Just get her to sit down with a glass of something nice and get her to read through here for an hour or so, I think she would get a good insight in to it.

Can anyone talk to their feelings about the veracity of the gender of these books authors?

I've found a lot of the literature is very likely written by men using a female nom de plume, and as such, they tend to focus on male fantasy rather than write something useful from the female perspective for other women to learn from.

I've got a road trip coming up with the wife soon and would like to play some audio books written by genuine women on the subject.

You raise a very valid point, so thank you.
This is one of the things that is important for us. Firstly, we're looking for things for my partner to read rather than me and definitely writings that are from a genuinely female perspective.

I'm not looking for things to read myself! We're looking fpr things for my partner to read, written by other 'real' women.

This site is broadly about the chastity aspects of a relationship from very varied perspectives so not particularly useful forwhat we're looking for here but thanks.

I’ve been researching this same basic question for some time now. Unlike you my wife is more to the vanilla side and does not identify as a domme but is curious. So for me helping her realize that she can be herself but add a dominate layer is important.

After much searching I think ‘Uniquely Rika’ may be the best mix of real relationship dynamics with elements of service blended in

I’ve not yet found the right opportunity to present it as an idea but I’ve fantasized about reading it together. 100 pages with follow on books if she likes it

For purely FLR topics, I’d recommend She Makes The Rules: woman owned, moderators by a team of women and men (particularly for the men’s section), currently quiet but carefully moderated to keep the racier / more genital-focused stuff in certain sun-forums.

A second vote for Uniquely Rika.

Before she passed away, Georgia Ivey Green had several books that we read together as we were forming our FLR.

It's not a book, but the Femdom Think Tank website has a lot of great FLR posts that are down-to-earth and very practical advice for women in FLRs. Over the years I have printed out posts from the site for my wife to read and she has implemented many of the ideas and techniques from these posts. The comments on the posts have good ideas too. It does not look like the site is currently active but there is a huge history of articles.

In that case she may well find Ingrid Bellemar's book useful. It is fairly hard core but goes through all of the aspects of male submission. She doesn't have to implement them all but it covers aspects like the subs appearance, restraints, service, punishment and of course chastity.

99.9% sure (from remembering back to when that all happened) that there was no Georgia Ivey Green, and it was all written by a male. The faked death of the fake woman was necessary because someone had figured out who the actual (male) author was. Not that writing under a fake name is bad or anything, but it is what it is.

The books I posted were written by women for women and men if they so chose to read them, we met both with their slaves at DomCon in New Orleans promoting the books. Both of them are women and Mistresses.

Any thoughts on the RWDDH book? It seems to have gone through a series of "owners" over time.

I haven't seen it before, but after the first dozen pages, it seems pretty good.

Highly recommend the "Uniquely Rika" series of books from Ms. Rika for diving into the D/s aspects of FLR. Not so kinky, but mostly geared toward women in power dynamics, especially the book "Uniquely Dominant"
