It has gotten to the point that a conservative in many places has to hide there opinions or risk getting assaulted verbally and physically. Maybe. I'm not shrink, but I have a 16 yo son. He plays video games (the shoot em up kind) a lot. He's the sweetest, most non-violent (can't even kill a spider) kid I know. But he has two parents that support him all the time. He's a homeschooled kid. He has a part-time job. He has no stress. He's happy. Those kids that shoot up schools, what's their homelife like? Are the parents there? Supporting him? Are the kids getting buillied in school. Yeah, in my list above, I didn't put in school bullying. It's serious and horrible. That's why our kid is homeschooled. Our kid was bullied. Just for the hell of it. They picked on him. The teachers would say things like, "Oh let's not bother asking (our son), he won't know the answer". WTF? And you call yourself a teacher? It pissed me off so much. We took him out of it. I wouldn't subject enemies to that. But the schools don't care. As long as they have their sports, as long as they're teaching kids about sex, and trans options, and getting their diversity money, they don't care about the sweet kids just wanting to be happy and get by in life. Seriously, he once told us he thought we were punishing him by making him go to school. He couldn't understand why they were harassing him so much. He felt going to jail would be better. And the biggest thing, the teachers and administrators didn't care. No, not video games.

 

Believe it or not, there's a thread through it all. And it's all related to Chastity. The Christ part pokes the devil who has reared his head on the thread. We then talk about other examples of the devil in this world. Chastity (for some of us) is a way to get closer to our wives, closer to God, and avoid the temptations of the devil. All related.

From what I have read, quickly on ti'nternet, is that if you can masturbate without any lustful or impure thoughts then I think it is OK.

Maybe it's covered under fornication? It also says we won't cheat on our wives (using other words). And masturbation, when married, is a form of cheating on our wives. But I don't really feel masturbation is necessarily wrong from a biblical perspective. Rather it is wrong from a relationship perspective (assuming it takes your attention off your wife). But it's a good question. If masturbation is "wrong", then is it wrong for both men and women? For me, If I jerk off, I feel it is wrong (but more on the disappointment scale), but for my wife, I want her to masturbate. It's a bit unequal. Like if I were to go to her and say, "wifey, I jerked off today". She'd be a bit disappointed. But if she went to me and said, "hubby, I played with myself today". I'd give her a high-five. What' that about.

 

Then there's the question of fantasies. Is it ok to have them and think about them (with or without masturbating to them)? I hope I'm not judged too harshly.
