Tips for staying locked at night

Agree , a smaller snugger cage which is a close fit is more comfortable in the long run. The attempted errection will make it snugger but it won’t be uncomfortable and still feel fantastic!

 

i have deigned such leather belt, with a hold back of the base ring, it works super. but you must allways loosen this before you go pee with full erection. specially when uncut, because the uterna is fragile, and if there is no free flow, you can have damages to it.

At first I'd wake up from a little pain, go pee so the erection went away, applied lotion, and, and went back to bed.

Something to remember here: a chastity device is a form of bondage and it will never be quite comfortable. Men wear it as a constant reminder of their devotion, it's not suppose to be completely comfortable.

He needs to suck it up and adapt. The night time erections will fade or get better as he gets used to his new situation. Eventually he might (or already does) have problems falling asslepp because he's too horny. That may or may not get better

I have to say that this has been our experience. However it wasn't until I had a custom made cage that I experienced this phenomenon.
All the time I had an 'off the shelf' cage I needed the biggest ring to prevent the pain that your husband is experiencing at night. This was ok but it didn't give me the confined feeling that I was seeking during the day.
Now I have a cage that fits correctly I do get both.

 

The idea of a super short cage for sleeping is kind of interesting. I bought one as more of a novelty and while I'm not sure I've done more than nap in it, I didn't notice a difference but I don't have a lot of problems sleeping caged anyway.

What I was thinking is that a lot of the Chinese metal cages have the same design, just with different tube lengths. Since they share the same base ring, it would be easy and quick to put on a super short tube before bed and then swap it for a longer one in the morning. He wouldn't even need to take off the ring.

 

Depends on the models. I have a few devices that I got with different ring sizes and weren’t compatible with other cages. They aren’t exactly universal or always interchangeable, at least not the ones with the integrated lock. The post style could possibly lean a bit more universal. They are cheap and probably worth the risk. I have a whole drawer full, I’ve never minded the cost of devices. I spend enough time in them that it’s all relative. On average, how much per day is your penis comfort worth to you?

 

I have these three and the base rings are pretty much interchangeable. Obviously these things are not precision instruments so the fit isn't perfect and might require a little filing/sanding.

 

I have kinda just got use to it. They wake me up at night and after a while it’s less and less they still wake me up but not as much as before. I have to admit sometimes I am horny wake up and knowing I am caged and can’t play with it myself!

 

I personally miss the morning wake up call. It was better than an alarm clock. 5am I was getting up to pee no matter what. A snooze button can be pressed and forgotten, that cage told me it’s time to get up, and it’s happening now, and practically had me running.

I had no luck sleeping caged for years. I'm a stomach sleeper, which is a problem quite often (A memory foam mattress, or mattress topper helps here) and I also found that a few nights of being locked, had the skin inflamed and sometimes broken where the base ring had dug in, requiring me to unlock for days while the skin healed. I've got a short, Chinese cage like the ones pictured in an above post, and find I can roll onto my stomach with no problems, and the cage no longer levers against the ring as it was doing. These are also fully hidden, even under tight jeans. I had to modify how I wore mine though. I put the ring on....poke the head down into itself, and gather up the shaft skin, like an uncircumsized penis, and put the folded skin into the cap/cage. Previously, I had 2/3 of the head in the cap, and a lot of loose skin bunched up, and getting pinched. Now it's tidy, and pinch free. Give it a try!

 

Usually for me i just bring my knees up to almost fetal position and the reduces the pull for me.

Rectrix, thanks for the information and support. It is something I need to do to show I am all in.

 

Smaller the better as some have said before. The biggest part is mentally dealing with it, but ball pull is a real thing, but not enduring it will cause it to keep happening. All things get better with time.

 

I found that i used to have a lot of erections at night...but over time...my body has seemed to learn to avoid pain by not getting as many erections. I have also noticed that sometimes i get confused as to whether I am having an erection or just need to pee.

I have come to believe that snugger is better.

For my first Lori's, I was systematic about measurements - 'getting them right' was obvious.
My measurements seemed to have a wider span than expected.
Most told me (including Ms Lori) to round down.
Believing comfort was vital, and fearing discomfort, I rounded up.

Although somewhat heavy, the device is very comfortable - no feeling cramped at all.
At night though there was too much room - and that led to attempts at erections.
Especially while I was trying to fall asleep - thats when I really would start 'wanting' an O.
There was the classic pushing the cage forward putting pressure on the testicles.
I too found that a leather pouch could hold the device close to my body - that took care of distending the testie sack - but not the tendency for erections.
Strike one.

Add to that that I am a proponent for hydration.
A glass of electrolytes at bedtime means peeing a few times at night.
Not really a problem but erections are normal as the need for urination becomes felt.
Strike two.

With experience, trial and error, things got better.
Now I can spend up to 5 days in the Lori's.

I am still on the honor system most of the time. Its after I get home from work and when She is away for business that I need help keeping my hands away.

My next Lori's is correcting that mistake - its a whole 1/2 shorter.

Something I learned about myself - and am reluctant to say anything about it lest it effects decisions towards others ... is that the more I am allowed to orgasm, the more I want to and the more erections I get. Fewer orgasms, fewer erections.

I wholeheartedly agree with smaller is better. Switched out to a shorter tube and didn't have constant attempted erections overnight. With the short tube, erections never really get a chance to start never mind continue. Definitely leads to a better night sleep.
