Hello and welcome, so this was your wife's idea? It's always good to hear of such cases because most of the time it's the guy who initiates it. What do you think of it so far? Have you established any rules or routines?
She has been wanting to be more dominant in out relationship so she discovered this and asked if we could try. So far I don't find it too bad except the side pins on the cage don't seem to stay in place very well. As for rules, right now I'm wearing it mostly while she's at work and when we go to bed but no real rules yet.

Welcome. Enjoy the ride. A lot of us on here wish we had a wife who wants to be more dominant. I imagine a lot of us on here are like me where it took a lot of trial and tribulation to find the right woman to hold our keys.
Thanks and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions. As for how I feel I'm good with it. The last cpl yrs our relationship has pretty much been centered around me and my needs and now that I'm more at peace with all that it's time to give her the focus she deserves.

Oh, it sounds like you have a CB style cage and most folks who've tried them don't like them, including me. I would recommend a 2 piece metal cage, especially one with an open design so that, if and when you decide to try to leave it on all the time, you can clean yourself with it on. Any cage is going to uncomfortable out in the cold, normally your balls would retreat inside when it's cold but a ball-trap device will keep them out there, so at that point, I don't think metal vs. plastic will make much of a difference.
But I tell you what, if you want to avoid metal, I would really recommend an HT (Holy Trainer) style cage over those nasty CB models. You can get knock-offs on ebay for under $20, just chose the model (ie, Nub, Nano, etc) that best matches your size.
Welcome! I'd suggest starting a post in the journal section. I think a lot of us would be very interested to follow your journey and thoughts along the way. I'm less than a month into this as well and the change with my wife an I is incredible.
