Hey I apologise for being a little too crass yesterday, I should not have done that but I was in a cynical mood.

However I do disagree with everything you just wrote. What if you are born disabled, what if you become disabled? Should those people just die? It's the only logical conclusion I can take from your writing, and that way of viewing others in need appals me.

Better you spend your time doing something of better than answering to those bullshits. I’m on your side and I think the same of you Mrs.

If people are worried they may become disabled then they should treat their families better so they can depend on them. And no worries over the sharp tongue. I’m no shrinking violet and understand my viewpoints and beliefs don’t always please others. And that’s ok.

For all the talk on equality people seem to overlook that the UKs conservative party has twice given the country a female Prime Minister.

Don't get me started on party politics or politicians in general.
    But
Lib-dems and the greens have female leaders now but their parties on seem to serve as a kind of conscience for the the big two.

    One could say that;
An all female cabinet ... just as an all male cabinet can not be right by excluding members of one gender completely you run a very strong risk of not getting all the right people for the job.

I'd be in agreement with that were it not for my personal belief. That politicians regardless of party or which party is in power all serve the same few people all of which I certain are extremely wealthy and in an exclusively male club. It is the existence and make up of that club that needs to be addressed.

A lot of people will doubt or be at least sceptical about my thoughts on MPs being effecitively owned.
But think back and then do tell me when despite all the protests when in 'opposition' has a party gone on to form a government and reversed any of the policies of the previous governement which until they were elected the then opposition were complaining about so vorciferously.

Now what I'm suggesting makes far more sense.... A governement it seems won't reverse a policy unless they are told or given permission to do so.... which is unlikely as it is the people from which permission is sought that thought up the policy in the first place.

Pleaze consider the following choice of words before drawing any conclusions.
All this is carefully considered speculation on my part ... obviously its conceivable....of course it is wrong .....but is it correct?

If it is right then there are only a very few people to be convinced if enough people wanted a government whose senior players were all female.

For me there does not seem ( I may be wrong) to be enough women with a right-wing bias (no not racist thugs) to give us a balanced parliament. In the non too distant future we will no doubt see all for ourselves.

Not everyone in this world was lucky enough to be born to a functioning family support system. Do you realize how fragile the human body is and how very close you are to becoming disabled at any given time?

(Sarcasm alert!) Silly disabled people wanting to live independently-in a country that can afford it many times over-makes me sick-whatever next?

In our family we have a pact. If any of us are in an accident or become gravely ill and left less than whole, after visiting that family member the last person out the door is to trip over the cord and ensure the plug has been pulled. We don’t believe in languishing in misery. And yes, this exact scenario has played out for us previously.

They are free to live independently. Just don’t ask me to part with my hard earned dollar to pay for it. No sarcasm.

If you were born with cerebral palsy and the only family member that you had was a abusive mother who was addicted to heroin, how good will you be at earning your own way in life without help? If you got in to a car accident today and became paralyzed what would happen to you? What if your family decided to think like you? Neither of these scenarios involve,”pulling a plug.”

It is nice to see that L-U-C-Y has finally been revealed as the Supreme Leader Snoke figure that we have all hoped her to be. We now have to practice our polite subservient bow followed by “as you wish my lord/lady” if we wish not to be crushed.

You want to feed, clothe and house the people? Fine. Just do it on your own dime. I am not my brothers keeper.

    I already answered his question-

In our family we have a pact. If any of us are in an accident or become gravely ill and left less than whole, after visiting that family member the last person out the door is to trip over the cord and ensure the plug has been pulled. We don’t believe in languishing in misery. And yes, this exact scenario has played out for us previously.

That was and is our solution. No one in our family wishes to live half a life as an invalid and all have promised to ensure none of us do.

Who are you to declare who is valid and who is not. I remember L-U-CY talking a while back about how she worked near Stephen Hawking, was he an invalid? Or was he an example of what can happen when we try to accommodate people to allow them to thrive. You are forgetting that money is an imaginary concept invented by humans. It doesn't matter. Food, shelter, clothing, and medicine is all that you technically need. Anything else falls under the category of thriving and extra. Do you consider Mother Teresa an enabler because she dedicated her life to the forgotten people of the world? To answer your question, I don't mind money being taken from me to invest in society. After all, I do live in society as well. Social programs are what keep us from going back to the dark ages.

And again I say, if you want to pay for others, do it with your own resources and leave mine alone. I ask for no freebies and offer none.

Do you realize that in our country, we subsidize the farming and energy/oil sectors very heavily? So you are not actually earning your way through life the way that you believe. You are in fact the recipient of "freebies" because life as we know it in the United States would not be survivable without them and society would breakdown because of it. Your occupation is listed as "driver." Your entire livelihood is dependent on the unhealthy amount of money we all contribute to subsidize the oil industry in our country.

Farming feeds and oil provides energy and a huge percentage of products used worldwide in every business and home. You may stop purchasing food, fuel and virtually every other product even minimally touched by fossil fuels. Let me know how that goes. I work an average of 85 hours/week, hundreds of miles from home for weeks at a time. Yeah, I believe I’m earning every dime I get. And everything you own? Everything you wear? Everything you eat? At some point in its travels to you, it rode on a truck. You’re welcome.

I’m out. This conversation sums up our country. Nobody listens, then hears what they want in order for them to justify angry outbursts, repeat. Hopefully when the Female Political Party crosses the Atlantic, they bring a better mental health care system with them.

I was neither angry nor did I have an outburst. I never even attacked anyone with name-calling or insults, while both were directed toward me and my viewpoints. I am and will remain a free thinking conservative, responsible for no one but myself.

In theory. But reality and theory are not always the same.
I’m pretty moderate, but compared to how things have been shifting I seem more conservative. The reality is I’m conservative in some things like limiting the size of government, defense, and personal freedom. While I’m more liberal and libertarian on social issues. I really don't care what others do as long as they don’t harm others.

Modus brings up roads, and subsidies. The reality is we’re a hybrid system. The things we pay for with tax money is a form of socialism. Subsidies, tax credits, etc all reduce costs in one area but raise them in another. Imagine if only kids of those who could afford education were to go to school. What would be the impact to society? Imagine how expensive it would be if every road had a toll,

So you may think you’re responsible to no one, but as part of our society you’re responsible to many. Don’t pay your drivers license fee and you can’t drive. You then can’t work. And you better be responsible driving that truck. Drive over an innocent family and you’re going to jail. So you are responsible to everyone on the roads to do your part to be safe.

Now I’m not criticizing you. I wish more young people had your attitude. I’d rather they be like you than brain washed that socialism is “better” than capitalism. As you know, capitalism feeds the industries that you are responsible to by driving their goods. And let’s not forget the customers. If you’re not responsible, they can’t buy what you’re suppose to deliver.

As one matures, I hope you and others see that things aren’t as simple as you portray them. Now I’m not saying you’re not mature. But your statements project a less “mature” view of society than you may actually understand.

I support my family first. I’ll help out a friend in need next. Then others local. Then others in my state or country. Then finally someone else in the world. I don’t do it all the time. But I know sometimes people need help. And when I can and feel like it, I’ll do what I can. I can’t give to every charity or every needy person, not even the richest can.

I’ve been there, in that I’ve had to accept help after being the victim of a horrific crime. So I don’t mind helping others from time to time. Imho help is a lot different than a government support for someone not willing to work or help themselves or their family.

If you choose not to help anyone else, that’s your choice. Just remember at some point, you’ll need help with something. And I hope that you’d have others willing to help you. Imagine if you had to pay someone for everything you needed help with. Now imagine a friend helping you. You return the favor another time. You help someone else with something. They in turn do likewise, etc etc

So while I may not be as conservative as you, I think we have many similar views. Where we differ, I hope you’ll see that sometimes being flexible and making some minor changes isn’t a bad thing. In this case, I’m just suggesting that you thing a little wider and more abstract.
