Spotted a key around the necklace of a friend of ours. Definitely not just jewellery

 

Your wife agrees with you?

 

If referring to my post yes, she agrees.

She seems pretty excited that friends of ours share the same kink but also very wary about letting our knowledge of it slip.

We had suspected for a while, there were too many give aways, the biggest one seeing a purchasing screen for a steel device on an unattended mobile phone.

 

That sounds like they're dropping hints

 

Yeah the way I wrote the post probably wasn't the clearest.

I don't think they're hints, the mobile phone screen was a definite mistake based on how quickly the phone was snaffled up when she realised.

 

I was in the grocery a couple of days before Thanksgiving, so about a month ago. I headed back to the produce section for something I had missed on my first lap. I spotted an alternatively dressed lady, head shaved on one side, leather harness over her black t-shirt, gladiator-type boots rummaging through the cold case of turkey parts.

Curiosity got the better of me as it always does and I wandered over. Now, I know better than to ask the traditional questions, to ogle, or to bother people in public. To each his and/or her own, right. BUT, then I saw it,... that long slender key most of us live by on her necklace.

I had to. "Eh, uh, excuse me", I said or something equally profound. "Ah, I, uh, have a very special key, eh, similar to the one you have on your necklace. i just wanted to say 'hello'." She looked up and smiled, her horned rim eyeglasses on the end of her nose from leaning over. "Well.....you do, huh?" she said fondling the key with one hand, and hefting a slab of frozen fowl in the other.

"I, uh,had never seen one, you know, in real life. In public, I mean. I think it's cool and I'm happy for you. It's like a secret club or something." I was really rocking the suave banter at that point. "It IS like a club. No one has ever noticed it before, I'm so glad you said something," she said. I wanted to ask a hundred questions, but I froze.

I just smiled and waved and wheeled my cart on to the fruits and veg. I'd give anything to have a second chance.

 

@mandrake2238 It sounds to me it went perfectly. You were respectful, yet discretely brought up a very private topic for both of you. She also handled it well.

Also, I enjoyed your write up. Made me smile. I think you did great in an unexpected situation. And who knows, she is very noticeable in hair and dressing and you might run into her again.

 

I understand being tongue tied in that situation. I hope I would have blurted out something like "How long have you had that key?"

I don't think it was an entirely terrible article. A lot of new people are engaging in unsafe play with cheap devices. I wish they had been a bit more impartial but the fact remains that a lot of folks are buying $10 cages off of Amazon ad causing serious harm to themselves.

 

I so wish my keyholder would proudly wear my key in public. It means so much to a chastised male to know she is proud of his devotion to her.

 

I purchased the wife a beautiful sterling silver key with a dangling diamond that unlocks my cage. Just after I purchased it we left town for the weekend and I asked her to wear it. It was one of my first longer term lockup’s. We went to a swank little restaurant on the 1st day. I noticed the hostess did a double take and looked at it intently as she prepared to seat us. After walking us to the table and wishing my wife well she made about 4 steps before coming back to the table and complementing my wife on her necklace. My wife just smiled and thanked her. At no point did the hostess speak to me, but as we left she saw us and waved to the wife. Pretty sure she had a key of her own somewhere.

Have you thought of asking her what it means to her? Ive seen them but to vanilla it may mean she holds someone heart near to her

 

The other night we ordered take out. As I was waiting for my order, I spotted a key on a necklace of the hostess. I said "Nice key" she replied with "Thanks. My boyfriend likes it too" and gave a little grin. By that time, my order was ready and she rang me out. I said "Thanks and have a nice night". She said back "You too! Come again soon... or not" with a little giggle.

 

That's sounds nice.
You should keep playing these balls with that hostess.

My wife really liked the "or not" part. She said it was spot on

 

Not in public but we were spotted on the weekend by one of my wife's friends on an impromptu visit to us.

Usually tucked away the key was visable.

She came in and I left to made coffee for everyone. When I came back into the room, I handed her a coffee and she motioned over to the key and said "well that makes a lot of sense".

The continued on with the previous conversation as my wife tucked the key away and didn't mention it again.

 

I a few years ago I bought my wife a sterling silver key with her name on it from the chastity shop (a Dutch jeweller that makes custom keys). My children are teenagers (16 and 13 respectively at the time) and are both sharp as tacks. My daughter complimented my wife on her necklace but followed up with “what does it unlock? It’s clearly a key not just jewellery…”. Followed by egging on by younger brother.

Mrs V bluffed and avoided the question but has not worn the key on a necklace in front of them since. She now has the key on a bra chain which she prefers as the key is quite heavy around her neck.

Whilst my daughter wouldn’t have a clue what it was for, we’re hoping she forgets it even exists, unlikely though that may be. I am not sure I could bear the embarrassment of her finding out.

 

January Jones is gorgeous. I hope her key is what we think it is.

 

I used to hide the key in public, but nowadays I'm much more comfortable letting it show. Hubby especially likes it when we're out together.

I'm not really sure what I'd say if anyone asked.

 

My wife would wear the key on an anklet at times. When asked she would say it is the key to my heart.

 

That’s a common response. I wonder if we can think of a witty fun reply to that to make it know we get it and approve.
