    My keyholder wife has same thoughts and keeps her in her purse with her during the day. When we go out for an evening she will wear a key pendant necklace i got her to represent her keyholding and she likes it much better than the plain key.

    Spotted the elusive Keyholder at a Vintage Market show today. I caught her eye, looked at the key on the necklace around her neck. She noticed me looking at the key, looked at my wife, (who didn't notice it), and then broke a sly smile at me.
    My wife must have been exuding keyholding energy

    I am more aware now
    Much like looking for the pineapple in people’s yards

    saw one in my neighborhood on an mailbox
    It was a stencil so don’t know if that is there because they chose a certain lifestyle or for decoration
    But I have seen women wearing keys and never put two and three together

    Agreed. Especially in New England where the pineapple is a traditional sign of hospitality from the maritime days. Plain old fashioned hospitality. But it’s easy to see why an upside down pineapple became a code for “special hospitality” if you know what I mean, nudge nudge, wink wink.

    A right side up pineapple means “welcome”, nothing more. An upside down pineapple is a symbol used by swingers. You see it a lot on cruise ships and some resorts as well.

    Saw a young keyholder at st simons island ga.I pick up a vibe form her in the small shop look and saw a nice working key not one of the novelty ones.I got my wife attention while she walking out the store with a guy in tow 2 feet behind her.Wife said he following her lead.I walk out to see if a can make a generic comment to her but was gone in car. My wife made sure she still had hers in plain sight.

    Very early days for my wife (KH) and I, but she has worn her key everyday since the start of our first Locktober this year.
    Working from home the sound of the key against her pendant acts like a trigger.
    When she goes to the office, I love to imagine people seeing it.
    And in our local pub I'm sure at least some of the staff know what's going on. This evening one of the barmaids was chatting with my wife when she noticed the key, it was very obvious that she knew something was going on and she became a little distracted. Strangely this barmaid also had a key on a necklace, but we're pretty sure this was a vanilla symbol.
    Still a very interesting interaction though.

    Its strange but I would love it if my wife wore the key around her neck all the time and was proud of it. I bought a working key that has a heart symbol. Should be delivered any day now. I am hoping that when we get that key she will wear it with pride. But I am not sure if that is the case yet. Just like it has been stated... If you know, you know. But if you dont know it is just a key.

    My wife(KH) is so open about wearing the key that I thought I should do my bit and try to bring this 'kink' into the open world.
    So I've started to wear a small padlock on my front belt loop, KH thinks it's very hot!

    My wife too wears my Key in the open all the time. I actually love it. Also, Like you I wear a small padlock on my belt loop. My wife has noticed it. She thinks I am a bit silly for wearing it. But she is ok with it.

    Not too sure if you remember my last post #116, but tonight there was a development in our local pub.
    We've been entertaining there staff there since the start of Locktober, don't think they're user to seeing middle-aged couples acting like teenagers.
    After yet another hot make out pre-dinner glass of wine, the barman finally asked my wife (KH) about the key.
    'is it for something special?'
    'Very special' replied my sexy KH.
    'Is it for Craig's chasity cage?' Joked the barman.
    'Absolutely' says Sazz

    Unfortunately I missed most of the interaction as I was talking to the sexy barmaid!

    I've read down quite a bit and it is predominantly about keys on chains. the other day I read an article about men hanging a lock on a belt loop as a signal to others. If I saw a man with a lock on his belt loop I could honour him for his choice, not only in being a chastized man, but also making a step to coming out. I'll look for the article and post it.

    I don't know if I am an idiot or not... But I do wear a padlock on my belt loop. Almost everyday. I love being in chastity. I am so hopeful that a stranger someday notices it and acknowledges it to me. My wife wears a decorative (yet functional) key around her neck as well.

    why would you be an idiot? I wear a padlock on my belt loop to, it’s always on the first loop on the left for me. I’m not sure why!
