Looking back I would say chastity around 20 is not that much different than it is with 30 or 40...

At the age of 18 my girlfriend an me stumbled about a CB in some sexshop and bought it as some kind of kinky gadget. And still switching at that age that's how we used it: as some kinky toy during sessions.
That changed after we stopped switching around the age of 21/22. That has been the time I started wearing the cb regulary first and later 24/7. In reality there was not much change though - it just bridged the time when we had sex...^^
At least that ho I would see it from my point of view todey. However - of course it was also annoying at times when you wanted, but not your girlfrid or you have been away from another. But in general that is not so much different from today I would say.
One other thing I do not miss though is the discomfort. Of course wearing a CB you naturally have to accept a certain level of discomfort, but as said: Our first cb was a cheap thing from a sex shop we started with and with not much experience. So at times (ond othen enough with ill timing^^) there was way more discomfort / pain than necessary.

But apart from that it was a great time.

 

Brilliant question. I can't even begin to compare my life and sexuality changed so drastically in my twenties until the last ten years.

I can say that I've grown into chastity gracefully. But if I were 18 it would have taken armed soldiers to tie me down to get this accomplished.

Would it have been a profound change in my life? Incalculably yes.

I was first introduced to the idea of male chastity at about the age of 22, 34 years ago.

I was interested in body piercing, just prior to it going mainstream. Some of the crude piercing publications at that time featured forced feminization, and male chastity through piercing.

I don't recall seeing male chastity cages being available then.

If I had locked up my penis at that age, it probably would have been of benefit, as I was a shy introvert who masturbated far too often.

 

I think if the right girl had come along I would have opted for chastity as a younger guy (always been submissive and into kink - although was somewhat embarrassed and ashamed by it. Even telling my second gf -circa 20 years old - that I was into it was terrifying and she was no way into it - although the poor girl was just as sexually inexperienced as me!)

This may have been the place I bought my body piercing magazines from between 1993-1995. Small world, if true.

 

I don't think there's any way I could have been in chastity in my twenties. I wouldn't have known well enough what it was I was denying.

 

I was locked up for parts of my early twenties. It's pretty much what you'd expect - more sex drive, less perspective and less discipline (along with sensitive skin) means lots of stopping, starting and changing my mind. On the other hand, now I'm 30, I know what I'm doing a bit more and can lock up longer term. Unfortunately no partner to hold my key anymore.

But as I already tried so say: Chastity in the 20s might be rather about some kinky play or some kind of statement than about actual denial. At least that what it was for us.

 

I've wondered about this myself. On Twitter, I see a LOT of male chastity stuff going on with young gay guys. There is no shortage of young guys in college or in their low 20s using the new 3D printed devices and many using PA's for security. I, too, wondered what it would have felt like to be in 24/7 chastity at such a young (and randy) age. I'm jealous of those kids. It must be amazing!

I would have been up for in my teens and twenties without a doubt . Think my first awareness of chastity would have been around the age of 21, I made a crude homemade device from a pipe bend , I couldn't wear it for more than an hr or 2 before removing it to masturbate . Think I was early thirties when I told my wife I wanted to try it but it wasn't her thing so I tried self locking. It's only as I got into my mid fourties' that I could wear it for more than a day or 2 before I unlocked to masturbate . A bit of me envies the youngsters now days as there is so much info out there ,so many styles of devices at affordable prices and todays teens all seem so open minded .

That is the place. Bought copies of Piercing World, PFIQ, and Body Art there. Magazines now long out of print, unless they have been revived. Gave my collection of these magazines to a tattoo artist, before a move.

If your talking about a young lady that was nice looking and very petite I actually made a special set of cuffs to fit her. I had one of their early belts and no piercing was needed. Hard to imagine what life would have been like. Back then it was sleep when you're tired, eat when you're hungry, masturbate when you're horny... it was just happened. Why would you intentionally deny yourself sleep, food or sex?

With time it became quite clear that I was way more comfortable in the submissive role and she in the dominant that the other way aroung. However I never was and never will be someone you might think submissive on first view and our way from first playing with a cb and living in a FLR was a long one.
My father leaving military service got following note in his reference "expresses his own opinion" - and this might be double true for me.^^
THough while I might stress my wifes nerves at times I usually know when it is time to shut up - most of the time....

How I felt in the times I have been locked ?
Often uncomfortable as I had a CB-6000 kind of device at that timee and there have not been many devices to choose between. But apart from that - not out of the ordonary I would say.
We were about 20 and acted accordingly. So the time between sex was never that long and when we have apart for a week or so you might have wanted to masturbate 2-3 times and more intensely than nowadays, but you still had you honour. And overcoming that urge and showing submission as well as some sort of faithfulness to your partner was part of the fun.
You might compare it to the purity ring or nofap movement in a way. With a kinky twitch at least...

Ok i was in college.. middle of it me and gf broke up.. unsure if that was the reason… but i ended up masturbated a lot… ok it was already on daily basis since 11yo.. but i needed to graduate and moonlight semesters were over.. i needed to concentrate.. i actually stumbled upon cb6000 of that era as a prevention for jacking off.. very interesting… ok, cant afford it?
