Does it get more comfortable?

I think most of us have some sort of sensation there at first. For some it is a burn , others just the pressure. I think if fit is fine you'll acclimate to it, knowing it's there but not a bother to wear.

 

Have you slept locked yet? After I slept wearing my device it felt more normal and I gradually became less aware of it. You didn’t mention where the sting was you’re feeling. If it’s on the scrotum, probably a bit of chafing from the ring. I had a bit of that. Used a little lubricant there between the ring and skin and it went away pretty quickly. Good luck.

 

For me after 3 days everything gets better including sleep. Even before that it’s not noticeable most of the day.

 

It does, sometimes takes few days, sometimes a week or so. More you wear it, the easier it is to adapt to wearing it again. Now I would have to have a break of few weeks to get back to point zero, where it would take a week or more to adapt. I still apply baby oil under the ring each morning and evening.

You will get used to it, your device will become part of you, and in time I’m sure you will miss it, if and when it is removed. my personal findings are that moisturiser works best with plastic cages, and baby oil with metal cages, I have no idea why? Maybe it’s just the way my skin reacts with them.

 

@sissyEliza85 well you dont say waht your cage is but some cages do get comfy after you had them on for ooh say 2 week but some ones dont ever get comfy. The first one I had was a cb6000s and that never got comfy but the ones I wear now are comfy.

 

If your device isn't comfortable after 2 weeks or so then you need to consider what the problem is - ring too tight,/not tight enough, cage too narrow/too long/too short/too heavy, poorly made cage etc - and then decide if the device can improved or needs to be replaced. Similarly, if you wear it at night and you are not getting enough sleep then maybe the cage needs to be modified or changed.

It has taken me many months to work out that the ring on my cage was too small, even though it was initially comfortable, and moving to a larger ring has made a huge difference. Because the ring makes the device slightly heavier and as there is a danger that my balls will pull through the larger ring, I now wear a waist strap to take some of the weight and also to pull the ring up close.

 

If you are new to Chastity it does take a lot of getting used to...night times are a challenge even now I struggle at times.
And I have been using cages on and off for about 10 years now!

I’m not as experienced as some of members on the forum, who seen to do Months at a time in a cage!
The most I have managed is 8 Days (day and night).
I’m currently planning to do 2weeks in my Small Stainless Steel Holy Trainer.

I agree with most of the responses. If it is a good fit, you will become accustomed to it after a couple of weeks. It may take some extra lubrication, etc. But soon, you'll be forgetting that you even have it on.

 

The device should fit so that you really don't notice it most of the time. If that is not the case after a reasonable break in period, something needs adjustment.

 

I don’t notice I have mine on unless I go to pee (and even then it’s so natural to sit to pee I now do it when uncaged), she puts her feet on my lap for me to rub them and sits right on my cage, or if I forget to put Vaseline gel on and it starts to burn a little. That’s it.

Even when we are being intimate and turned on I don’t really notice it. It can’t get hard so it doesn’t even ache really, and the only strange sensation I get is when I get out and it can get hard. Strange!

When I first started wearing one I thought about it a lot, now it just...is. It feels like a spigot for peeing, in general it’s non-sexual.

 

I would say a properly fitted device of quality design is suitable for long term wear when it is comfortable while flaccid and pleasurable when hard.

 

I don't know if I would go as far as to say "pleasurable when hard". It should not be painful or damaging, but I don't find my device pleasurable in that situation. It is an uncomfortable reminder.

 

The two types I wear are quite different, the on on my avatar takes about a week to get used to, but it always tight around the waist but copes with night time arousal much better. It is more secure than my Looker 2. You cant forget its there tho and you must sit to pee, and much harder to keep clean. But after a week it stops being a real burden, more a routine you just have to follow.

The looker2 I can put right on and its fine with a bit of lube under the ring, but its always a pain during morning erections. When i am in the looker 2 I take a very low dose of cyproterone acetate which has zero side effects other than to make the night time erection vanish or make them relatively minor. When they start to hurt again I just take a tiny bit more. Other than that I forget its there after a few days, even in the bathroom because of the urethral insert I can pee standing up

 

Mine is the permanent version and can not be removed. I do have a shorter looker 2 with a removable insert but i never wear it as I find the base of the tube where it meets the front of the cage can be a bit harsh during attempted erections, after while crystallization can occur inside of it and I need to clean the whole cage in a ultrasonic cleaner, but that is only once every few months. I could probably poke a wire up there that was measured so I couldn't actually injure myself but thankfully Mistress usually lets me our often enough so I can clean it properly although I have been in it two weeks straight right now. I have had the looker for about 5 years and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. If Mistress ever did decide I was to be locked permanently which I hope she doesn't, the looker2 could realistically do this.

Thinking about it, at the time I was wearing the shorter version I was suffering badly through night time arousal which lead to the purchase of the second longer one, the short cage might be revised soon, because its probably a bit more secure in terms of cage shaking.

I have hardly noticed my device for so long now, on the occasions I’m not caged I feel uncomfortable, it’s become a part of me.
