I believe that the West is weaponising commercialised narratives in pursuit of destabilising the "rival axis" (Russia, Iran and China), against whom propaganda will be used to make up, or exacerbate alleged qualities of authoritarianism. I'm going to go into more detail about this in the thread, but I have been studying this for some time. I will begin this OP saying that there are many more similarities between Ukraine and Israel than people believe, as uninformed "leftists" tend to compare Israel's aggression against Palestine with the nature of Russia's intervention in Ukraine. Actually, we will see that this is not the case:

    - neither October 7th nor the intervention around Kyiv were unprovoked, but both have histories, starting with 2008 Operation Cast Lead and the 2013/14 Ukrainian Maidan coup d'etat which lead to the Maidan Massacre, the Odessa Trade Union Fire, the Crimean Referendum and the war in Donbass.
    - we will see that both Israel and Ukraine are militarised Americanised proxies, in receipt of vast sums of lethal aid, the intention with Israel has always been to destabilise the Middle-East and carve up natural resources there, Ukraine has actually historically been intended to destabilise Russia, especially before the disintegration of the Soviet Union
    - both Israel and Ukraine have had ethnic conflicts against a minority ethnic or racial group that predominantly occupied different territories, in Israel's case this was the Palestinian Arabs living in the West Bank and Gaza, in Ukraine's case, this was the Rossiyans, who live in Kharkiv, the Donbas, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Crimea
    - both countries are extremely good at manipulating media narratives, as we have seen with false or exaggerated Zionist claims about what happened on October 7th, but Ukraine actually have both a black list and a kill list (Myrotvorets) of Western intellectuals who criticise the pro-NATO narrative
    - both rival super powers in this case Iran and Russia, are surrounded by the economic and military pressure of Western forces—these are American military bases around Iran, as well as the expansion of NATO in East Europe in the case of Russia
    - we hear very aggressive rhetorical strategies by the media to distract from Western hegemony in both instances, such as "do you condemn Hamas / October 7th" in the case of Palestine/Israel and "do you condemn the invasion" in the case of Russia/Ukraine, and in the latter case, we have even heard very specific terms used to provide very emotive appeal against Russia/Putin that we never heard when it came to Bush/Blair and Iraq's war of aggression, such as "Putin's unprovoked, illegal invasion of Ukraine"
    - as for China & Taiwan, I have not done a great deal of research into this one, but while Taiwan has always enjoyed great autonomy, they have technically remained a part of the Chinese constitution, and it is even in their own declaration that their government is the rightful government of all China. Joint-American military drills in the South China Sea, military bases in the Philippines and elsewhere, would be a great deal like joint-American military drills in the Irish Sea with the Isle of Man who are technically a British Crown Dependency but not part of the UK proper, while declaring the Isle of Man wants "independence" (which they already have). It would not be so dissimilar from Chinese military drills with Hawaii either.

But Putin's invasion of Ukraine was not unprovoked, as we will see. If you want to be on the same page as me, you can begin by researching Lori Spencer's coverage of the CIA's 75 year history with Ukraine. Birrion Sondahl has done a substack on Norman Finkelstein terms the "outsized influence" of Nazis in Ukraine, this means that while being a technical "minority" they had influence in a way that works outside the rules of normal democracy, such as bribing political leaders, running protection rackets, forcing budgets through council by intimidation and violence, the power and influence they command in the military (not just Azov, who were rolled back into the National Guard, but militias like C14, the various motorised brigades and others).

Do a google search and you will see that there were no more than 10,000 ISIS militants at the peak of the conflict in Syria, and this was the justification used for Western interventions there. Anyway the Lopatonok (Global tree productions) documentaries and some of what Oliver Stone has done without Lopatonok cover Ukraine in great deal also. Crawdads and Taters did a three part series on the Russia/Ukraine conflict (found on Birrion Sondahl's page) as did Cover Media do a three part series on the history of CIA involvement with Nazis in Ukraine (also found on Birrion Sondahl's page).

Youtubers: I follow Jimmy Dore, Brian Berletic, The Duran, The Grayzone, Break Through News, Useful Idiots, and some others I can't name off the top of my head. Some (not all) have links with Russia, so for sure take the information with a pinch of salt. However keep in mind that it is just so difficult to get the truth from a Western Media that itself lies about things (Weapons of Mass Destruction) and hyped up the second Ukrainian Counter-Offensive in a massive way, which just totally flopped, not to mention the ties with the National Endowment for Democracy, involved in violent colour revolutions, regime change and itself a cesspit of Western propaganda and corporate media monopolisation.

Finally, I often argue that peace agreements were drawn out early on in the Russo-Ukraine conflict to address Russia's security concerns (conceded by foreign policy expert, Fiona Hill), but as suggested by various sources including the pro-establishment Ukrainska Pravda, Ukrainian politician David Arakhamia and Ukrainian negotiator, Chalyi, Western leaders (prominently, Boris Johnson), intervened to promise Ukraine a blank check and encouraged them to renege on these agreements (in the process of finalisation in Turkey).

But yes, these are all alternative media sources, though often linking to very reputable information. I have also paid attention to military veterans, ex-CIA analysts, historians (like Mearsheimer who has presented at least two overviews of the Russo-Ukraine conflict, both after the 2014 war in Donbas, and after the 2022 intervention around Kyiv), pacificists (like Clare Daly/Mick Wallace) and politicians. Many of these sources I got from Ukraine's own black list. I consider the following resources very important to understand exactly why these conflicts (Ukraine / Israel / Taiwan) are essentially American proxy wars that risk escalating into global warfare:

“The U.S. Should Be a Force for Peace”: Nat’l Security Experts Demand U.S. Push to End Ukraine War --> this one is by the reputable "Eisenhower Media Network"

David Sacks: Ukraine is turning into Woke War III

Please realise that I am not the one lying about Russia and Ukraine. It is the Western media that have lied from the very beginning about what this conflict is really all about.

Yes. It's why it's important to not blindly listen to propaganda from any side. We are bombarded by lies. They have gotten worse and I believe and they will get much much worse. AI will raise the volume. I used to feel lies came from one side, but dishonesty has been weaponized. Just as it used to be that all sides needed to have mutual deterrents when it came to nuclear weapons, it is now the case that all sides need mutual deterrents with respect to disinformation. That is why the US hated Snowden so much and why Snowden is a modern day hero. He was one of the first to reveal the depths of the disinformation practiced by our own government. I have no answers. There's not really anything we can do other than be skeptical and prepare. And make the best choices that we can make based on the best knowlege we can gather.

Thanks. I wasn't sure what the reaction would be to me posting this here but I hope people by and large see what is happening overseas. Even if they disagree with some of the actions taken by Moscow, Hamas and so on, they have to realise that there is a history of interventionism by the US which has often led to violent regime changes, dictatorships, and civil wars as a result of their colour revolutions, beginning with Iran in 1953. So the first resource I share will be this one by Johnny Harris:

    American-Backed Coups, Mapped

    And this one:

Greenwald OWNS Bill Maher For Two Minutes Straight

You can't watch this one and still take American exceptionalism seriously. Even if you condemn countries in the emergent BRICS economic alliance, there is no denying that Western hegemony has been at least as brutal and destructive since World War 2, the events following from Hiroshima and Nagasaki and all the wars of aggression (Vietnam and so on) if not more so.

List of wars involving the United States - Wikipedia

This kind of reasoning destroys itself simply by looking at history objectively.

The Muslim Skeptic makes the case here that the Middle Eastern countries are too autocratic, and weakened by American interventions and regime changes, or attempted coups to show proper solidarity with Palestine:

I have been meaning to research a bunch of coups that almost certainly have Western—specifically American—involvement (like in Pakistan with Imran Khan) but did not covered by Johnny Harris for technical reasons. These are recent ones in the Middle East, we also have historical ones like Chile.

It boggles my mind that Israel hasn't been bombed to fuck by NATO like Yugoslavia was in 1999.

It also boggles my mind to hear the french resistence called terrorists for fighting the occupiers when clearly they are not. Ooops, I meant Hamas.

We also have schrodinger's russia, who is out of missiles and troops and is losing to ukraine, but is also somehow threatening to win in ukraine and will then rampage across europe.

Finally, we have ukraine, which was a neo nazi hotbed such that the USA stopped funding them for a while since it was a bad look, but when russia said they were going to denazify the place suddenly the nazis had done a "Operation Paperclip" and fled back to their owners.

Ugh, I said "finally" but then I forgot about the fact that the USA is occupying about a third of Syria right now and the UN doesn't give a fuck.

Anyway, read "why leaders lie" by mearsheimer, you'll love it, as well as "the rape of the mind" by someone who's name escapes me right now.

The USA is a terrified bully, who is losing his grip on things and is going to lash out. The USA is doomed, it is inevitable. Read Ray Dalio's book, but if you lackl the attention span for it, watch this...

I honestly thought you were going to have something scathing to write, but I have to say I read this and loved it (and learned something too)!

I am about to watch this one:

^I love things like this because the Grayzone in spite of their controversies often do do real journalism. And to hear detractors say "you can't cite The Grayzone, they're Russian propaganda" is always frustrating, but it is always good when you get to refer to things like this. Because if a Western media outlet like The Intercept steals a story from The Grayzone, then there must be some sort of credibility to the Grayzone's reporting. We have this one right here exposing the myth of October 7th reporting by Israel's own propaganda department.

The constant BS about Hamas, Israel, Russia, Iran, and every damn country that is leveraging the US and it's vassals out of the way is insane.

Russia; War criminals because they evacuated children from a war zone, Israel murdering 10,000 children is perfectly fine.

    WTAF?

Boris Johnson lying and the media does nothing. Joe Biden lying all the time, the media does nothing.

    It's nauseating.

Western media, at least, is utter fucking garbage. Stop reading the news, it's poison for the mind.

I like the drawings in the video. I agree with the premise, and I do believe we are in the midst of a mass psychosis today. But, the irony is regardless of one's beliefs, it appears to them that it is those who believe in the opposing positions are the one's suffering from psychosis. Simply taking US politics as an example. Trump supporters believe that the left is in a state of mass psychosis, and the left believes that Trump supporters are the ones suffering. One thing I would agree with. We are on the path to totalitarianism.

I remember the UK/US media laughing at the giant parade for the DPRK leader and falling over themselves when the UK queen died and the new dude inherited everything tax free.

    The hypocrisy is AMAZING.

Anyway, jimmy dore is funny and fun but please don't get your news from a comedian.

I forgot to list the Roses have Thorns series in OP. This is important because for people who would demand "reputable information", this series only covers recorded information about the events following the 2014 Maidan and disposal of Victor Yanukovich—footage of protestors, referendum turnout (in Crimea), statements by public officials (Ukrainian, Russian, American) and so on. It is not Russian Propaganda, this is documented, objective evidence:

"Roses Have Thorns - Casualties of the Ukrainian Revolution"

I plan to revise the series, not just part by part (it is 17 parts) but clip by clip, analyse and dissect this simply because this is history. It is not well-reported or acknowledged that US intervention clearly took place during the riots and the massacre that took place during the Maidan before Yanukovich was ousted (he rejected an EU trade deal which would have alienated the Rossiyan communities of East Ukraine and imposed heavy IMF austerity measures on all of Ukraine).

But one day, this needs to become history, it needs to be acknowledged that this was a CIA-backed coup d'etat from a country that frequently complains about Russian election interference. But look at what they do.

Here is a great quote from Alex Christoforou's latest video about the recent resignation of Victoria Nuland ("Game over Nikki. Nuland resigns. Small town girl with a big dream. Macron to EU, stop being cowards"):

Victoria Nuland Leaving Post While Ukraine On The Ropes, US Policy In Shambles | ZeroHedge

On a separate note, these kind of sentiments—"fuck the EU", makes me seriously consider the mainstream Remainer/Rejoiner narrative about the EU, and whether we would have seriously been better off remaining a part of what is essentially a vassal empire of America, for them to influence policy making and undermine their decisions, as seen in the way Victoria Nuland just went into a country like Ukraine and did whatever the hell she wanted. It was within European and Russian sphere's of influence, but Nuland, Pyatt and others just made Clinton's Civil Society 2.0 a "Project Ukraine" that was essentially all about American policy interests.

If political science students will be studying Victoria Nuland, it will be for all the wrong reasons. She may even be seen as a catalyst for the decline of American hegemony in the emergent multipolar world order.

I had not seen such a post, it seems to be buried on a later page here. I had remembered there was all the content about the COVID jabs which I treated as political and I had planned to come here but it took me some time. Regardless, it's been more than 24 hours since the above comment was made, and I already started the thread now so I will continue, unless requested by moderation to stop.

^In this clip, the journalist Abby Martin explores some of the history of NATO's interventionist origins, including backing of authoritarian regimes and their behaviours in Italy. I'm not going to revise this one in great detail simply because there is another video that goes into a lot more detail about all of this which I've been meaning to revise. For the time being though, it makes for accessible viewing. Here's a description of the video:

I doubt it matters. No one is going to read this yawn fest and actually form a divisive opinion… they’d try but they’d be asleep sooner.

I mean, I didn’t read the actual thread at all. I read the first paragraph…

I believe that the West is weaponising commercialised narratives in pursuit of destabilising the "rival axis" (Russia, Iran and China), against whom propaganda will be used to make up, or exacerbate alleged qualities of authoritarianism.

and I laughed to myself. Why would you go to the effort of writing this and post it on a forum dedicated to chastity?

It’s frickin bizarre, and that’s coming from a man with a cage locked around his cock!

Well, considering I have had two posters who were interested, perhaps it is for the best that only those with informed opinions on the subject are contributing, rather than simply receiving a tonne of inflammatory nonsense. And if you knew what the historical trends were since the inception of NATO, the intelligence war against the rival axis since the end of World War 2, and the re-emergence of the cold war against China, you wouldn't think this whole thing is a joke.

Perhaps the question is, what can we do about it. I feel much of what you say is true, but the system is protected. Sorry to be a defeatist about it, but we see from the ordeals of Trump, that the system will destroy those that challenge it. It's one thing to be aware of the lies, it's another to get them to stop. I feel what's more productive is to figure out ways to insulate yourself. I don't see that will ever change it. Perhaps in time, it will fail of it's own accord and those left to pick up the pieces have an opportunity to right the wrongs. But it is doubtful that we will ever have the opportunity for a benevolent government again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the content, I was expecting some right wing anxiety about being “woke” and all the nonsensical fear of enlightenment.

Turns out it was a completely different set of nonsense! Way to surprise me!

Get the word out, resist censorship, including literal censorship but also censorship through castigation, group think, ostracism and so on. Be unafraid to share your views with people, and contribute to the society where other people can speak out about what is happening here. It is propaganda against BRICS, our countries are trying to promote themselves as superior. But all of our freedom and democracy that we pride ourselves on was obtained as luxury, through the benefit of exploitation and neocolonialism.

Now we tell ourselves fairy tales like, we are helping Amazonian feminists kick Russian ass in Ukraine, not realising how much of that money has gone to groups like Azov Third Brigade (close to its defeat, I have heard). Or the whole story with Israel, they are pink washed so we believe they get to take their tanks into Gaza to bring their version of civilisation. And right wingers will get behind this thinking it is blue haired student campus protestors being killed there or something. This is what I mean by "Commercialised Liberal narratives" at the start. Jimmy Dore absolutely destroyed Bill Maher on what I would consider to be the "right wing" of Commercialised Liberalism:

It was fantastic. This is what I mean by real, authentic progressivism. Without all the phoney commercialised b.s. Straight from the heart.

Hey, just look at how cultures are transforming. Arguably not for the better.
We also know we have puppet masters and they decided to wage a war on many fronts.
Why? So we end up confused as fuck and ultimately have less kids. In a generation or two the population will be drastically reduced. Look at birth rates are down 10 to 20% since they pressed start.
Arguably it's a good thing, for read my first paragraph.

All the bickering here doesn't change it.

This is in the off-topic section. What else would you expect to discuss here? Judgemental jackasses?
    Peace out.

No, I wouldn’t find it such a joke if you had actually posted anything chastity related at all prior to bringing more off-topic discussion to a community you have made no effort in being a part of.
