Question about new device from Amazon

The item has been purchased and it is shipping soon. I read the posts again and realized that 84mm is 3+ inches, so a 65mm could work from what macmagna is saying, but I feel the 60mm will cause the same issue I had with cheap plastic 60mm HT as it did not fit in and I was flaccid but sore from the pressure it put on my head. Maybe after wearing this new device for a while, I might take the risk of getting the 60mm version of the metal cage I had but without the open top design.

Also, the 90mm metal device is in the trash because the adjustments I made did not work. I should have never taken it apart. Let's hope this new device works out for nights as a find a good smaller device for days. Thanks to macmagna and sissybitch, I now feel that we could have solved a simple issue from the very beginning if I joined this forum and I would still be enjoying the cheap 60mm HT2. Well, we live and we learn and like I said, I am new to all of this.

 

Wow. This may be a risky move but I am doing it! I am purchasing the 60mm steal cage because I still have this gut feeling that things will work out and that I need to learn to not over assume things and take things way too fast. Like I said, there is a high chance you are right and I could be fine with a 60mm device. If I do have on-going extreme pain and other issues, I will let you know and we can work it out the proper way...without me replying too much and thinking I have all the knowledge. I can't make up my mind! No device is perfect but with this group, I know we can do our best to solve the issues. Wish me luck.

 

I am still waiting for my refund but as I am waiting I have a couple of question to ask.

I noticed that when putting on my steel device adjusted to mimic 60mm (I cut off the end and somewhat reattached it after cutting off the cage to match the 60mm length), I have to squeeze my soft-flaccid penis 1.25 inches inward (fills the 33mm diameter). Without that squeeze, the lock cannot reach the ring even when flaccid. So my question is this: When mid-erect, is it possible that the extra inch and more will come back, forcing the ring down way farther like the cheap 3rd party HT2 did (I used all rings and even the 40mm caused to slide down)?

I now feel that steel is a different ball game and sturdy steel has different properties than cheap plastic...but I woulld like to know if there is a chance that it could leave a horribly painful red mark on the end of my penis after wearing it for a while (With the plastic 60mm junk, I was trying to get penis to turn flaccid while causing the pain to increase as the penis got pushed even stronger onto the tip/pee hole). Ithink I posted that before but maybe not.

This is the only reason I am anxious about getting the one that might be better for me. Macmangna's reply changed my mind as his penis is also above 80mm when flaccid and there are no issues with his small 65mm cage.

My feelings have been switching back and forth. At times feel that adrenaline you get when riding your first roller coaster but thinking it will all be fine. At times, I want to continue the 80mm device and stop the current cancellation process.

I hope I hear back soon before the seller contacts me back with the refund or not. There is a chance that it might not be able to be canceled and I'll still get the 80mm device. Either way should be fine, right. Maybe I could have both devices.

 

I wanted to let you know that I have got the refund but the card won't be active until tomorrow or Thursday. I have the choice of getting the 60mm steel device with the same end design but a closed tube. I wish they had something similar that is 70mm. I'm going to keep looking and see what there is. Iam not giving up! I still would appreciate some of those questions answered anytime soon.

 

So, I did my looking and all the steel devices that have a simple ring-groove design with the end cap I love are only 60mm and below. I posted the photo below with the measurements as well. Like I said, I am a bit iffy about going below 70mm until I get those questions I posted above asked. The things I do enjoy about getting this 60mm device is knowing the fact that my urethra will not slide into the left bar because it will not leave the bar tips and slip back, and the fact that I can wear pants so I can keep it on if company comes over.





I hope to hear back soon. Nobody posted or replied about my pros and cons with the 80mm length. Is it because I am posting solo too much like a chatroom?

 

I just talked with sissybitch and I am fine with this new cage for a try. Why? That plastic replica....it was not 60mm. Yep! The despicription says it comes with a 60mm cage that attaches right under the base ring and up to the stomach. Therefore, it was actually a 50-55mm device; no joke!

By the way, I had it all wrong from the start and now I have a totally different viewpoint on chastity devices. I didn't realize the device should be 10mm smaller than the flaccid size. This makes a hig difference and answered a lot of my questions.

Yes, I am getting the 60mm cage and it should work out. If not, I'll post some info and we can all discuss some ways to fix them.

I'm definitely going to buy it and like I said, I am excited to realize that this device could be almost an inch longer than my first junky "60mm" device that might have placed 10mm of that 60mm length tube under the ring and lock. If it is true like I believe, the extra 10mm should make a big difference. I could be fully wrong and the plastic cage itself could have been 70mm to make up for the space under the lock. Do a lot of cheap 3rd party devices do this? And again, I am still concerned that when I am semi-erect, the ring will slide down my shaft because of extra space needed if the penis is very long. If that happens, the device could slide off but if it happens, there is a way around it: bowline knots and wire! Hey, at least there is no bulge designed for the bottom of the penis to slip in (see my first few posts).

I only buy chastity devices online with pre-paid gift cards as I always do cash. I went to the local store yesterday to get the $25 gift-card and I purchased the 80mm device and asked for a refund. I just called VISA and I will not be able to use my gift card until next week as it takes a while for the refund to apply within the balance; I think this is crap. When I purchase it, I am getting higher priced shipping so it will come a bit sooner. It will probably take 5-6 business days, so the estimated time of deliver will be from June 17 to June 20. Like the previous device, it will take around two weeks for it to arrive. If I didn't purchase the 80mm device, it would be coming next week. Bummer.

I will also try and shave my pubes before it comes (I have no electric trimmer and I am scared to cut myself with a razor blade). When it is delivered, I will wait until I am fully soft and flaccid before inserting the device onto my penis. I will keep all of these things in mind when it comes as I now understand a lot of my assumptions about using chastity cages were incorrect.

Thank you for all the useful information here and it all makes sense. Like I said, I have learned a lot from this and I actually was looking at other pages about fitting yourself to the right cages and getting used to it and a lot of the stuff you said is true on those websites as well. I am actually having a hard time making it through the night just from the excitement of waiting to get it.

I am glad to know that my body will adjust to it naturally and not to give up because it will get better. It is also makes me feel comfortable to know that even when my urethra is partially blocked by a bar because it turned left a bit, I can still go pee without getting a urinary infection.

Part of my main issue in this post was worrying about if I would experience the rare excruciating pain of pee building up inside the urethra (because it was partially blocked as I forgot to check to see if my penis was straight and not off-centered by 1.5mm) as it would probably feel like a urinary tract with harmful results. I hope I automatically spray pee all the time when I forget to check the alignment in the middle of the night; it would be embarrassing to tell the doctor why my urethra is injured. You can tell that I was very nervous and worried about this issue and why I didn't get the 70mm closed shaft because of the small end-hole.

My new goal is not to masturbate and I know this device will help a lot to achieve my goal. The only other issue is that I do not have a wife as I am a single guy living on my own. Everybody has thier issues. I truly agree that nocturnal emmisions are more intense when compared to jerking although they are messier. The arousing pain from the cage when fully erect might ruin it for me though, but I will find out when it happens.

Breaking New: There is a high change that joshers2005 truly doesn't know his flaccid penis size yet although he thinks he does.

Yep, I still never measured my flaccid size range correctly. I believe you understand this by now as I do. I did more research on multiple websites and found out there is no exact flaccid measurement for the human penis as it changes in length throughout the day...and this is why I am getting so confused and why I am stating all this incorrect information without knowing. I first stated my flaccid size as 105mm when I measured it on paper drawing it. I had so many measurements on the diagram so I might have selected the wrong one. Then I proved my flaccid size to be 84mm for a while when i noticed it was barely touching the 90th millimeter. Was I exeggerating? I don't even know or care anymore because that is still an incorrect way to measure it. I could have be 82mm or it could have been 87mm from looking at the sight without a real ruler at hand. Finally, I followed this procedure below and I was very surprised with my final results. Here is the article with my results and some feedback below:

Measuring for the Cage Length:
The length of the cage is somewhat important. Ideally you want a cage that is just long enough to allow the tip of your penis to come to rest at the end of the cage. If your cage is too small, it could make you feel like your penis is being constantly “held back” inside the body a little, your glans may bulge uncomfortably through the end hole, or your penis may bunch up towards the base. For uncircumcised males, the foreskin may protrude from the end of the device and get pinched. A cage that is too long will not cause any major issues, but it could cause urine to get splashed inside the device, which builds up moisture and odour.

To measure the length of your penis for a chastity device, you can take a ruler and place it on the underside of your flaccid penis, measuring from tip to base. Do not press the ruler into your scrotum, as this will give you an incorrect measurement. Just allow the ruler to make contact with the skin there. You should be completely flaccid when taking this measurement, but not the “retracted inside the body because it’s cold or scared” type of flaccid. For accurate results, take this measurement several times throughout the day, to find your most common length (63.5mm for joshers2005). When you have found your measurement, deduct a ¼ to a ½ inch off (approx. 10 mm off) the final results and this will be your ideal length for a cage(55mm cage for joshers2005?? What the ...? This is almost the same size as the cheap HT2 replica which put too much pressure and tightness on me to the point where my head had a red mark near the pee-hole and as if somebody grabbed my penis and squeezed it hard; my penis was sore with pain that didn't go away until the next day).

It says my flaccid size is 63mm now. I measured my flaccid as 84for a while as it was 4-6 mm away from the end bars of the 90mm cage. I could be wrong and it could be something like 75mm So what is it then? 63mm, 75mm, 84mm. I feel like giving up. I can't make up my mind. This week I was excited to order the 60mm cage and now I want to wait and find one that is the right size. Sissybitch is helping me out, with this but you could bring some feedback as well. I looked at photos from the site and I now see the the cage and ring often slip dip down a but not as much as mine did. I am waiting patently for the right purchase even though the device will not be perfect.

 

Thank you for letting me know about that; it does make sense. Also, from what I remember, I destroyed the end of the plastic cage because I wanted my head to stick out longer... I am now thinking that the shape that supposed to imitate a penis head was not a good idea for me, which explains why the end cap the steel cage is perfect in my opinion.

Once again, I have a bad short-term memory, so I could be wrong.

I want to let you know that because I have been measuring my flaccid size incorrectly, I might be 2+ inches while you are still 3+ inches. After looking at a lot of other pictures, I see that it is common for the ring+cage to move a bit depending on how hard the penis is. Therefore, measuring my flaccid penis by comparing the length of the cage is wrong. So now, if I really am an entire inch shorter that I thought I was when flaccid, is 60mm still a good choice?

 

Wow! One of these is correct...but which one? I have seen it 1/8" longer or a 1/8" within the past few hours.



I am starting from scratch today.

 

I want to let you know two good things:

1. I worked with somebody who really helped me through and we finally found my true flaccid size and the right device. It is 76mm or 3".
2. I ordered the right device and it should be at my place within 5-6 business days. It is a 60mm cage/78mm device (all steel 3rd party devices from China are not exact when it comes to sizes). 1/8th or 1/6th of an inch off should make no difference what so ever.

If I find the 60mm cage/78mm device too large, I will get a 50mm cage/68mm device as I left left over money in my VISA card. It will be 8mm shorter from my flaccid size, which would work out perfectly and I will no go any shorter than that.

I hope this helps me from changing my mind and over-thinking.

 

Hey, I wanted to share some great news for you all as I do not believe this is overthinking:

I have been measuring from the side of my body and not right above the shaft. I totally forgot there is a 3/8" (9mm) dip in my body as the ring is designed to match that dip. As a result, my flaccid size is actually 9mm more, now making it 85mm (76 + 9 = 85) or 3 3/8". Remember when I kept saying my flaccid size was approx. 86mm when I had the 90mm cage locked on? Well, I was right before hand! Heck yeah! Here is a photo showing approximate details (with my penis the most flaccid it could be within the wide range I have been monitoring; I never seen it go any softer):




You can see the the tape measure was about an inch up, but I still believe it is accurate. It took me a while to make this photo.

As a result, the 78mm device will be 9mm (3/8") shorter in a great way. It looks like it will be snug in the device but don't forget the the device could slip down on the shaft around 4mm on the shaft at first (as I notice in other photos of people using similar metal cages). You were all correct in the first place when saying the previous 90mm cage was too long and this cage will be the right size. Some members here have told me:"the tighter it is, the better fit it is".

Well, now I am excited about this cage and I will let you know if there are any issues. Thanks for the help!

 

Although the penis and the tape measure are level in terms of the 1/2" above height, the yellow arrow is incorrect as I forgot to move it 1" more to the lower when I moved everything else to match the difference. Every measurement in the chart and in my comment might be 2-3mm more or less but what matters is that the 60mm cage/78mm device is a good fit for my penis.

 

I have a quick question,

Because it is from China, will my new steel 60mm cage eventually rust if I often wear it during a warm bath? Somewhere in the description, it says it is not nickel or chrome but stainless steal. At the same time, somebody told me that you can boil such steel cages, but I am note sure if they were talking about the Chinese devices.
