    I am installing a new chat system, the old service was getting unreliable, hopefully this will be a big improvement.

    It will mean your old chat messages and any attached photos will be lost. If you want to save them you will have to click on a conversation, then click on the arrow at the top of the chat box, then VIEW CHAT HISTORY. You can copy and save them from there.

    I will be installing this on Monday night, so be quick if you want to save anything.

    You might have to log out and clear your temporary internet cache before the new system can work.

    If you have any teething problems with the new chat system you can post them on this thread.

    I do't really use the chat option enough to know it needed upgrading ... I'm sure it did
    Nor will I probably be able to discern the changes though I'm sure they are good one.

    But I still want to express thanks to Lucy Carrie and anyone else involved in continuing to improve whole of the CM experience for everyone.

    I think it means they have recently been active, they may be not at their computer or recently logged off.

    The new chat is now active. You might need to log out and back in again, or even delete your temporary internet files.

    It should look like this....

    It will only show those who are online or who have recently been online.

    If you click the arrow to HIDE CHAT you will not receive any messages or notifications until you unhide it again.

    Hi Lucy. Yes I have cleared browser cache and general phone cache and logged out and in. Turned phone off too. No sign of chat.

    Also, on my mac computer, although I'm logged into the Mansion
    and Chat is showing on my mac, my username is not showing in the list in Chat. Sorry...
