Betty Blue is a marvelously uncomfortable movie to watch. Not easy at all but worth the effort.

The last movie I saw was Wonderwoman. Tremendous!

Thank you for that lovely video, Mistress Lucy. The Force is very much alive and present in your pretty foot :)

I like all of those, too. And since you're talking about french movies, I'd like to add Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis
I'm going to watch T2: Trainspotting tonight, I have seen the first one countless times...

I saw Faraway so close by Wim Wenders, back in 1993, but never saw it's prequel. That certainly made me want to see more. It's so long ago I can't remember much about the story.

In my opinion In weiter Ferne, so nah! is worse movie than Der Himmel uber Berlin, but this ending scene is so powerful and touching.

I saw Dunkirk yesterday and despite all Nolan perfectionalism, great camera, captivating shots and impressive casting, I was dissapointed. The whole movie left me emotionally indifferent.

Well, as far as I know there are already several negative ones. (e.g. one in Guardian). I can get his approach not to shoot realistic and bloody reconstruction of the evacuation and instead of it focus on suspense. But with his perfectionism it ended like some kind of artsy manner - we see spitfires over the vast sea, we see soldiers in cold water, we see soldiers waiting on beach, we see some bombings, always in perfect shots, with impressive sounds of strings drones... in every moment you see cinematic perfection, but emotionally indifferent.

I think it’s about Fights in Space and that sort of thing. Or is it about Hollywood Movie Actors arguing for the best role in the movie? Now I’m confused :p

But I'm looking forward to see Lucy's "footage" (pun intended) in Star Wars!:D:D
