Friday I had the night off and Mrs. B went to bed early with a migraine. I went into the man cave and watched Road to Perdition on Bluray.

What was it about? It sounds like a light-hearted family comedy. Musical too I presume? :p

We saw the new Jurassic World, such a brain dead cheese fest.. the only entertaining part was watching the bad guys get eaten. But even that got old..

At a movie theater - Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. The last films on TV were several of the “Thin Man” films, based on the Dashiell Hammett book “The Thin Man.” I love the dialogue and the rapport between William Powell and Myrna Loy. For me magic.

The last one we saw was the sequel to Marry Poppins, I thought it was very well done and if you watch very closely you can catch a few things relating to the original.

I'm actually looking forward to Detective Pikachu of all things, looks like its pulling off the cheesy, dumb fun angle pretty well so far. The Sonic the Hedgehog movie on the other hand is shaping up to be quite the abomination.

I'll wait for it to turn up on tv I don't bother with the cinema these days, too many people attend that do not know how to conduct themselves in a public performance of any kind.

You must live in a rough area : ) I go to the cinema on average of once a week and very rarely had any problems.

Sheffield in not that bad .. compared to some. but other people getting up arriving late, eating and drinking stuff I'd rather not hear or smell. If the place is busy other people often smell and don't appreciate their own silence long enough to enjoy the film.

At home my drinking or eating afects no-one i can pause when i want for as long as I want. Athome I can watch films I have not seen yet and save myself the expense of cinema pricing when the film will be available eventually for no cost.

Now going to the cinema wih someone else is a different experience entirely

It must be that bad, I don't have any of those problems : ) The best time to go is in the afternoon or early evening when most screens are empty. Never go at peak times when a movie has just come out.

Its good that you don't experience those kind of issues. There are a lot of dorks insheffield not a big problem overall because you can avoid them but not all the time whilst at the cinema.

I could not agree more with you on going when its quiet and less crowded. Less crowded does appear to have a moderating effect on some people's conduct.

    John Wick 3: Parabellum

Very violent; but it's highly choreographed with humour. Overall enjoyed the film alot.
