There's obviously no way to know for certain how many guys are locked up, but given the HUGE, HUGE number of posts in various places about the subject and the number of chastity cage vendors and options available online, I have to imagine it's a pretty decent population.

If you work down through the Amazon top sellers of each, women's vibrators tend to be "winner takes all", with the first massively outselling the others. Sales of male chastity cages, however, are more evenly spread between models.

Well if male chastity is mostly a Developed World thing, and the Developed World has 20% of the population, then the % of the global male population is 2.34% divided by 5 = 0.468%, so your 0.75% is an overestimate. Perhaps.

Not sure what the definition is. Western nations plus those with peer economies? I'm making the assumption that male chastity is a developed world thing.

This thread is literally about estimating the population in chastity.

 

There was that mass hacking of devices not to awfully long ago. That gives some kind of data though if they were on or in a drawer is a factor. One could use amazon sales as input as well. Then again how many are worn and how many were one time use or gag gifts. Regardless it's safe to say it's not a huge number of willing men wearing one majority of their days.

 

Yes, there are some guestimates based on the hack somewhere up-thread. I think they come out at about the same % as the Amazon guestimate.
