I can think of lots of reasons to have feet.

I think it's a subspace thing. Well, I think the answer to your question is completely dependent on your desire to feel submission to your wife. If that is not a desire or kink, then perhaps it wouldn't happen. I am currently in the relatively novel for me phase of seeking an FLR but not having one. So I am able to mentally kinkify something like being ignored while giving a foot massage because it is close enough to my fantasy of serving my wife without reciprocation. In that instance, she didn't even say thank you, but she also didn't tell me to stop so it was kind of hot in a weird way for me.
