Got back into chastity currently caged trying to see how long i can last does anyone have any advice building up a tolerance to being caged for most of the day ?
I returned to chastity after half a year break. It is surprising that my body "remembers" what to do... Anyway, at first I was doing locks for an hour, and after some days I was able to wear it more. The big milestone is to wear it 4 hours approx. for a week. Than it can be increased to 8 or more, if you feel you can wear it. But don't rush it, otherwise it will not be fun. This 8 hours timing should also be done for a week, than you can try increasing it, and even sleeping in the cage. Also, use lots of lube to avoid chaffing. That's how I was able to get used to wear it all day long and during sleeping. Good luck!
If you can't wear it for a day, is it the right cage for you? I slept in mine and wore it 24/7 from the outset
It sounds like most people so far have answered this from the perspective of how long you can wear it from a comfort standpoint. Now, that is a VERY important point and it requires that you have a properly fitting cage and that it be sized and possibly tweaked for your anatomy. But the "how long I can last..." part could also be interpreted as to "how long I can last" until I have to take it off to masturbate. THAT is a different issue. That's something that will take will power (a dedicated keyholder can work wonders here as well!) and a concerted effort on your part to WANT to be able to accomplish t. Whichever it is, Good Luck!!! ~subrick
i have tried so many cages so far the one i have is the best just use a slightly bigger ring for colder days
Just posted on your journal thread. Don't worry about how long you've lasted. Take your time. There's no rule about how long you must be locked up. Do what's comfortable. Gradually, the length of time you're comfortable with it will increase. Good luck.
I first had a CBS clone for a few days, then holy trainer small or nano for most of the first year. Now the one in my profile, with a 45mm curved ring.
you might not be sized right if you have to build up to it. If there is any discomfort at all when flaccid you need to double check your base ring and the gap between the cage and the base ring (more important in my experience). If its just a matter of getting used to the unusual feeling. Then my advice is to just suck it up and deal with it! its part of the thrill to feel that sense of violation and confinement. you will get over it in a few days. Best advice I ever got was to just go cold turkey and try to sleep with it the first night. As long as all you feel when flaccid is the weight of the device to remind you its there, and nothing is changing color, you will be fine. Those nocturnal erections are the hardest thing to get used to, takes a few weeks and you may have to learn to sleep differently depending on if you already sleep on your back, or you prefer side/belly sleeping. back sleeping is the easiest with chastity. side sleeping can be done if you have a knee pillow to give your jewels some space.
If you’re at 20 hours then make the goal a day. Take a day off. Then do two days. Take a day off then do four days. Take a day off then do a week. Another day off then two weeks. Another day off then go for a month. Now if you have any pain or chafing or minor stuff add an extra day or until you heal. Back up a few steps then repeat when you are fully healed. the point is to push yourself but give yourself a day or so of rest. And of course a period for your body to adapt.
You could try a simple plan of doubling your lockup time, each time. Don't worry if you have to stop, and each time, you'll find it easier to repeat your previous best, and easier to then stretch it to the next milestone. Whatever you do, don't "man it out" if you have skin problems, sort it out and then pick up again. You'll find that by setting yourself a doubling target, you'll very quickly build up your ability to be in chastity for quite long periods. When "doubling", don't be too precise, just round up or down a little as makes it convenient. eg: 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 4 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month. 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year.
Do you keep the count going if you take it off for a moment then put it back on. Say to make an adjustment, switch cages, or just clean up with it off.
That's up to you, but most guys don't count that as a break. It's no good just focusing on a number, and ignoring things that risk your health. If you take it off for any of those reasons, then get locked up again straight away, without breaking the sexual denial, then of course you remain chaste, don't you?
