    This is a matter of civility, something we all would do well to be mindful of. I can show civility and be deferential to a woman who I still believe to be equal. Lucy if you would do polite as to take my seat when offered I would consider it an honor.

    I wish it was more universal in society but I ALWAYS abide by every single one of those. I like that they set the right tone for a proper relationship to begin. I think it diminishes us all that this smart set of guidelines have been forgotten. How can we bring back the gentleman?

    I’ve given up my seat to young women in their full health countless times and they’ve always graciously accepted. It’s unthinkable to me that a man would remain seated while a woman stands. This is proof that all men should be locked in chastity!

    But is it not subjective? A woman may view some of this as "romantic." But another woman may view it as infantilizing. Because of this, society does not have chivalry as a standard expectation anymore. Some are just good manners and not really anything to do with gender.

    Some old habits do die hard though. Men are still expected to pay for dates. And women are still expected to take their husband's last name. Those are two examples of things born from patriarchy that show absolutely no signs of dying out anytime soon, despite and increasing egalitarian society.

    Exactly the way I was raised!
    Everything permanently applicable to women in general,young and old,close or strangers,etc.without exception.
    Never ever one of them has complained,some might be surprised though.
    For us,belonging to the old guard it is natural behavior and absolutely compatible with the chastity lifestyle!

    I don't see a problem. In the first example there is no suggestion of lying and saying the food is good. It jjust says "smile and chew".

    Nah, bugger that. If I don't tell the truth I'd be eating it every week or two forever. We both have things we like to cook that the other doesn't appreciate. Better off nipping it in the bud early.

    well, is true most of man loose this good tradition, but i note that with chastity i started to do mosto of this tradition without i was ask to.
    this is another good point for male chastity :)
