I locked up a monk

I don't understand why he wants to remove the cage during prayers and Mass. He will be fully clothed and the chastity device won't be visible. If it is only because it is uncomfortable then either he doesn't have a suitable cage and it should be replaced or he should remain locked as he will adjust to it more quickly. Yes, I agree that the request should be denied.

 

It strikes me as being peculiar if this is the first time such a request has been made. Is he usually locked up through mass?

Unless there's something unusual about Easter Masses - like they all have to change clothing together or something - it sounds to me like he wants to enjoy a boner through the ceremony for some reason.

If he can't come up with a very very good reason, personally I'd deny the request; but the Ministress knows the ongoing dynamic better than I.

 

I'm sorry @Nicoftime but I have to Disagree with you. Most Priests don't need a cage to keep them faithful, this is a case where a few people who have done wrong make a bad name for everyone that remains Faithful to their calling. We shouldn't Judge everyone because of the actions of a few.

 

Since I've been wearing a chastity cage almost continuously for the past few years. I've led Church services many many times and it's made no difference that I've been locked up or not. Unless the Monks have some tradition of nudity in their service than I see No reason that it should be removed, that is if he has a proper fitting cage that isn't way to big like most people start with.

Celibacy is a major commitment for a Priest or a Monk so wearing a cage all the time shouldn't be a big concern for him. It does sound like theirs more to this arrangement than any of us know about.

 

Has he suggested any particular reason why Easter mass should be different from any other mass? Unless he can, I would refuse the request.

 

I don’t believe the majority were that way, it would keep them from covering it up in the name of confidentiality.

Yes, although I was one who suggested refusing the demand, I can see the logic behind this and in the circumstances I would be inclined to accede to his request. I am sure you will be watching to see if a pattern emerges.

I didn't see your response before I added my comment. That makes a little bit of sense. Perhaps he could remove it and adjust it and put it back on. See what happens.

 

Just a thought here, mind you, but in addition to a bow of chastity foesn’t a monk also take other bows such as obedience (to his superior “Head Monk”) and a vow of poverty?
With you being a professional key holder and the cost of a chastity belt, please tell us how this relationship developed.
Was this your corporal work of mercy or mercilessness?
I do realize that different orders take different vows. One of my best friends has a monk son and he doesn’t even own his toothbrush. Also, I don’t think he is allowed an online life.
Monks can be bad ass for sure! Look back at the Spanish Inquisition. All in the name of Christendom!

is he Catholic? Then he can't masturbate either. The discomfort is scaring him I bet, which is why he wants a break. In your shoes, I'd have him stop wearing and order a new style asap. Once he's comfortable, there's no reason to ever take it off. Just my thoughts
