    I am constantly bombarded with messages from strangers asking me to give them tasks. If I can think of something useful to me I will tell them, if there is nothing they can do I'm not going to make something up to please them.

    When I finally do have a task they can do, they don't do it. Then they say "Please punish me!"

    Maybe start a 'task ideas' sticky thread on here, and the people who enjoy this aspect of domination can share the task lists that they have been assigned in the past?

    Why spend your time thinking of tasks when you can outsource that aspect too.
    "Go and do task #46 on this thread, and then think up a new one to add to the thread for other slaves to do".

    Beyond alleviating your immediate problem, it might be really useful for new Dommes who may be uncertain what level of control is involved.

    I'm sure you attract some intelligent, literate people, maybe routinely tasking them to discuss chastity as a relationship tool on forums outside of this one, like Quora or Reddit, would benefit everyone in the long term.
    I'd much rather broach the topic to a girlfriend and be met with "oh, I've read about that..." rather than "...what!?"

    A reasonable idea, but it's still giving a pointless task for the sake of it.

    I do have some tasks that are slightly useful to me:
    Liking my fetlife posts.
    Watching my youtube videos.
    Clicking on the Chastity Mansion ads.

    That's about it, it's pretty hard to find useful ways of serving online.

    I've given these tasks before and quite often they angrily say "You just want to use me!"

    I would task someone with compiling a list of resources: books, chastity devices, websites that sell things that would be of interest to the community. The goal would be able to click through to the related website so CM/L-U-C-Y got a referral percentage.

    We all buy from someone. Usually after get referrals/recommendations from the members or their posted reviews.

    I suppose the fetish for them is to be abused by someone holding power over them, like a conscript pointlessly cleaning the barracks with a toothbrush? When something is classed as being altruistically useful then maybe they don't feel it is sufficiently abusive or demeaning any more and it just becomes transactional.

    Men are very task/reward focussed, if framed as "do useful thing X and I'll hold your key for another week" or something, then he's technically still being passively abused.

    I'd imagine there are endless SEO tasks they could be doing to improve the site's google ranking, maybe writing blog articles that refer directly back to here.

    It's an interesting line to walk though, 'be useful to me, whilst being worthless to me'.

    Various sites i been on in the past and i have seen that as a common practice that really upsets those ladies like @L-u-c-y who are truly dominant. I think if i not mistaken it is called topping from the bottom and is disgusting practice by so called submissives !
