    Only from a purely genetic aspect. But in reality there are chemicals in a female that inhibit y bearing sperm, so it is partly the woman's body that determines the sex of a child. Beyond that, the genetic math does not explain why humans and mammals in general evolved to a 50/50 split.

    But my question was more of something to make people think.

    More accurately. A single sperm is either X or Y, and most men have roughly 50/50 so there is about a 50/50 chance X or Y get through the egg first There are some human populations in the world with slightly more females to males, but overall there are nearly 102 males to 100 females in the whole world.

    Chemicals that inhibit Y sperm? Can you give your source. I just think, if that were true, why isn't there more women than men.

    It would cause in-breeding due to the lack of genetic diversity, as well a huge spike in population, and thus really wouldn't have much success from an evolutionary standpoint.

    It only takes a population of 50 to keep from inbreeding and 500 to stop genetic drift. So even with a 10 to 90 male to female ratio it would only take a population of 250 and 2500 to stop inbreeding and genetic drift. And huge spikes in population are always followed by increased plagues and diseases to correct.

    Interesting article. I don't read it as chemicals that inhibit male sperm, I think the article is saying the chemical make-up of the individual woman, depending on them and the timing of their cycle can influence X or Y sperm motility in different ways, increasing the probability that one or the other makes it to the egg first. They suggest that in the future a pink or blue pill may be possibly developed to change the odds in favour of your own preference.

    I think it’s interesting realizing that you are somewhat controlling the flow of hormones and endorphins through this type behavior. It’s complicated what and how these chemicals flow in your system, and how they are triggered, ,when once you thought you had control and now you don’t. I hope I can get her to tie me up tonight…good topic!

    Can't speak from experience, but from what I've heard regarding almost any practice you can take up, it generally takes about a month to fully wire in a new habit

    I don't see why wearing a cage and denying orgasms would be any different

    I have this wonderful new habit of cuddling and being teased by my wife in the mornings and occasionally in the evening before sleep. But orgasms produce a powerful drug and after 50+ years of masturbating whenever I had the urge, i still want to take my little guy in hand when I get aroused and she's not available. Drug addictions and long term learned responses don't fade in 30, 60 or 90 days. But they are easier to manage with new habits and a lock and a key.

    I posted this elsewhere but fits the topics here much more naturally:



    so I was listening to this podcast between a psychologist and a neuroscientist and it made me much more positive on chastity. It explained the science behind delayed gratification (dopamine receptors?) and how the brain gets more pleasure from anticipation than from actually receiving. Obviously that made me think of orgasms as opposed to anything else!! Quite incredible.

    The whole podcast is super interesting but if you want to focus on the specific section then I think it was around minute 46. Nothing to do with feminisation or sissy, or being subservient but purely the mechanics behind the brain.

    It’s definitely got to be the chemical flow in your system but the perceptions that you have in your mind are what controls the chemical flows. So if you have a keyholder who is constantly teasing and denying you as opposed to one who isn’t. Then you will experience either hi erotic feelings or frustration what do you think? I don’t believe it’s just dopamine.
