I've only ever done it twice once the water wasnt super cold and everything was fine. Another the water was a bit cold and it felt like I was going to lose the cage at any given moment. Base ring was a bit to lose though so it really just depends.

No issues other than need privacy in dressing room

 

I swim all the time in my bon4-I'd say the need for privacy or a quick change and the occasional rusty padlock are the only problems I've encountered

 

Went ‘wild swimming’ the other day with my wife and children. Had to change on the bank carefully under a towel (but that’s no different to how I’d have had to do it anyway...) and all was fine. No shape or outline through my swimming shorts.
Didn’t take on too much lake water, which was a bonus. But the fish did seem attracted to my hairy legs!

 

Don't do swimming these days! Basically if the water temperature is below 35c it's to bloody cold for me!

 

I wear a swimmers jock strap over my cage to prevent my cage from being visable when my trunks are wet and they cling to you. My wife set that rule years ago. I know some wives are OK for others to see their husbands cage but mine does not. The jock hides the cage and flattens my front out. Not a lot of fun to wear as it's very snug. I love laying in the sun wearing my cage, jock and trunks and looking over at my beautiful wife and seeing her skimpy bikini bottoms. I think how lucky I am to be hers!

 

We have a salt water pool in our back yard. My Wife(KH) and I swim all the time. We only wear swim suits when other people are there, otherwise, we swim nude all the time. I have not had any trouble so far with the cage or the lock. I have never had any problem with it slipping off...

 

I went swimming once in Turkey and there was little tiny fishes in the sea there and they keeped nipping my nipples. ooh it was funny.

 

I would recommend going with a smaller ring. I just remarked in another thread how a testicle escaped while swimming in the ocean while cold. It's a concern, but not a major one.

I regularly get into our pool and hot tub while wearing my Queen's Keep, both in a swim suit and nude. I've never had any issues at all.

 

Agree with this one. I water ski regularly and had to go to a 45mm ring even though 50 wad secure enough. It helped prevent balls from wedging painfully as they try to retract from cold water (as low as 17C). Bit of lube before and a stretch upon drying off and pain is minimized.

 

I swim laps at the YMCA a couple of times a week and wear fairly form fitting shorts. If someone were to examine my crotch they would be able to tell there was something in there, but most people don't walk around looking at crotches. When I got my jailbird I switched from a lock to the security screw because I'm in the pool and ocean so much. In my environment a lock would freeze up in no time. Keep it lubricated and you should be fine.

 

When I wear my 50mm ring, the boys want to climb up inside and will if I'm not careful. The 45mm leave no room for escape no matter what. So when at home it's 50mm and when traveling it's 45mm.
Just me being too cheap to buy a proper fitting cage.

PK and I always go in the ocean when we are at the beach. There has been no adverse effects on the lock or cage from the salt water. The lock is a stainless steel Master padlock with a brass mechinizem. The cage is titanium. We also have a hot tub on our deck that we use almost daily. No problems with the heat or water purification chemicals we use in it.

 

If you're worried about someone seeing the cage under swimming trunks then be aware of camouflage techniques.

Plain colours, especially light colours, show shadows from changes in contour.
Contrasting stripes and regular geometrical patterns (like chessboard squares or polka dots) also highlight changes in contour.
Dark colours don't show the shadows that give away contours so much,
Mixed / dispersive patterns with mixed colours hide shadows, and hence the shape underneath.

If you don't want anyone to see underlying shapes, then army camo or any complex mix of colours is best, followed by dark plain colours, and worse is plain light colours or thin stripes.

Of course, you might want the thrill of possibly being discovered without actually exposing anything, so in that case use the most revealing colours. Light pink will definitely raise a few eyebrows!

 

Never had a problem with the cage whilst swimming jus be sure to shower well after you don't want to be walking around with that chlorine smell eminating from your crotch.

I only look for privacy to change when there are kids around.. which I think is only fair and reasonable if adults see it.. they see it I stopped worrying about that years ago.

 

When I want to go for a swim and am locked, then I never unlock myself.
I haven't had any problems so far. About two weeks ago I went swimming right after I got up. Outside temperature was about 13 degree Celsius and water temperature about 17 I guess.
I felt my balls retracting (of course), but it didn't hurt and wasn't bothering me while I was swimming.
