    We have some mix of all these. Certainly, leverage/reward, vulnerability, a bit of feminization(I wear pink panties occasionally) and she does peg me, and when I had some testicular pain issues, we even discussed having them removed.

    Permanent is indeed a relatif word.
    I question myself how People in permanent chastity keep their hygene. I wear my cage almost 24/7 now but I take it of once or twice a day to wash myself.
    And I never had the urge to abuse the situation of freedom to touch myself inappropriate. It would feel like cheating on my wife.

    It depends on the device. Mine is in quite an open cage format. Also, surgical nylon doesn't take on a smell or harbour bacteria. So it's easy to keep clean using a shower and a hairdryer. People in stainless steel cages would probably say the same.

    I'm also wearing a stainless steel cage now, but still.
    I'm not circumcised so to clean myself the cage has to come off.
    But still, the point that I wanted to take is that even if you take the cage of to wash, I presume that it can still be considered as permanent.

    I think it depends on how you define things.

    That said, in the real world I’d agree with your definition. I’m of the school that never taking a device off is more fantasy than reality. But the ability to be owned, never orgasm, and not have use of your penis is permenant IMHO.

    Technically, yes. However, I think "permanent" is shorthand for "sealed" or "keys destroyed." Whatever the wisdom of it, it's certainly more than a fantasy.

    I wear a JB and am also uncut. I am able to straighten out the scrunched up skin, pulling first one way, then the other, and wash and dry it in that way. I managed to keep the JB on for nearly 6 months without it needing removal (security check finally requiring unlocking). If the device is too tight or too small then you can't easily straighten the skin and then you are in trouble and it has to be removed for cleaning. Shaving has to be done carefully too. I have learned not to shave too close to either ring part as the pressure can cause skin splitting. Just trim there. A very small amount of e45 cream around the rings and everything is good. For my wife and I the preferred lifestyle is best described as"long-term lock-ups".

    You probably didn't mean it that way, but I'm not sure there's such a thing as "too tight or too small." It's like Cindarella's slipper, if it fits wear it, the smaller the better.
