the padlock i'm using now for my cage has sharp edges and corners (cage from amazon)
this is painful for me, as in, when it scrapes my skin sticking through the cage.
and for my wife, when she sits on it or uses her feet to tease me while i'm in it.

so my question, what lock are you using?
i really need to find a round lock or at least one without sharp edges and corners.

If you have a metal file of some sort you can round the edges off and make it smooth. I used a bench grinder to round my lock but hand file will do it nicely too.

Just wrap some adhesive electrical tape around the lock. It should also help deaden the clicking noise as it bounces off the cage, if that is troublesome.

If it’s brass, fine grit sandpaper and a few minutes will make it nice and smooth.

Master makes a brass lock with rubber or plastic around the body. It smooths out the sharp edges.

After the rubber/plastic fell off of mine I sanded it down.

Mine never did, even after months and months of use. It's in my desk drawer now, and still in one piece.

use a file, not a rough one use a fairly smooth one and slowly round off the edges and corners off ... is all it takes.

you don't even need to use a vice.

I had a similar problem with a built in lock. The square edges of the lock were higher than the metal ring it fit into. Thus the edges were available to press into bare and sensitive skin. Luckily I was able to sand the brass and eliminate the edges. Good luck on your problem.

Most cheap locks are cast from very soft metal that is easily sanded or filed smooth. It can also help to round off the corners as well.

I used a Dremel tool to bevel the edges of the one that came with my Steelheart.

An alternative might be heatshrink sleeving. Just cut a length about 1cm longer than the padlock and then trim it down after shrinking. A 1m length costs a few pounds/euros/dollars and will allow you to replace it many times if it stains or starts to tear.

When I used a padlock, I slipped a rubber thumb over it. That stopped that sharp edge pinching as well as clanking against the cage. They're inexpensive and can be found at most office supply stores or online. It's not as permanent as modifying the lock, but if you don't have the tools or know-how, a simple solution.

Warning!!!! I had that lock, still do, but I would only wear it now for decoration or some sort of cage is in the shop kinda thing. The lock is brass, which doesn’t react well with urine, which will undoubtedly be touching the lock when you pee as it runs down your piercing and over the lock. Will start to corrode after a day or so.

I do not have a PA, i would use it instead of a padlock to lock my cage.
But i did not yet find one for a reasonable price in europe.

Sorry to ask a question off topic but I noticed you have a chastity mansion ticker on your post. I searched for that topic and found nothing. Could you point me to how I can set that up too. Thank you
