I have been thinking about a PA for months.
It was easy to think about when all the piercing shops were shut down due to the plague.
So I made a decision to get a PA when the shops opened again ...and wouldn't you know it, they opened again.

I chose to use Amory Body Arts in Santa Cruz CA, My piercer has been an APP member since 2006. I made my appointment a week in advance. ...which means I had a whole week to think about it and scare myself.
I showed up for my appointment early and had to wait outside while they finished with the client before me (more time to scare myself) When I was let into the shop I was immediately subjected to a health screening. Then a bunch of questions, followed by a bunch of safety warnings. By this point, I am so scared that I am almost ready to back out.
My piercer shows my the 6 gauge jewelry that is about to pierce my penis with the guide needle attached, and I could barely speak to give the verbal OK.

After marking me and cleaning me, I looked away as He guided the needle down through my penis to the piercing location He told me to breath in deeply through my Nose and exhale slowly through my mouth. Just as I exhaled I felt it. For 1 1/2 seconds I thought I had made a huge mistake, and then it was over. 1 minute later the only discomfort left was feeling as though I needed to pee.

It turns out the worst part about getting a PA (so far) was the anticipation.

Way to go! I bet you're excited rather than anxious now. Hope it heals well and quickly. Feel free to share more details if you'd like - i'd be stressed out about what to wear, how much did you undress, - was it just pull down some shorts or lift up a skirt, lol.

I was pierced 4 1/2 weeks ago and the worst part of it was the anticipation. Though my wife said she almost threw up watching it. I also was pierced at a 6 gauge. Now 4 1/2 weeks later everything is looking great and I am sporting a Schandmaske from Steelwerks.

Also avoid any supplements that may thin your blood. I made the mistake of taking garlic the evening that I was pierced.

I'm seriously nervous about doing this myself. I bet it's no biggie in the end. I want to get a PA to be able to wear a tube style chastity cage. Any advice on gage and placement of the hole? I hope you haven't had any issues.

The piercing itself hurts, but only for about 2 seconds
I did have a little bleeding overnight, the sight of by penis bleeding was probably a bigger deal to me than the initial pain.

I talked with my piercer about wanting to use my piercing to secure a chastity cage, so he recommended a larger gauge piercing with a greater setback so that there is more distance from the tip to the piercing. The larger gauge will provide more surface area to spread out the weight of your cage. The extra setback is a guard against potential migration.

I was pierced at 6 gauge, ...and I will probably stretch to 4 or even 2 before attempting to wear a cage without a balltrap ring

No, not at all. ...But I have been taking my time waiting for the "relaxed flow" I haven't been brave enough to try to push out a stream under pressure if that makes any sense.

Drink lots of fluids. Urinating actually cleans the wound, so it's a good thing.

I had random bleeding for a day or two, but by day three I was OK.

Be prepared for a lot of urethral stimulation- it can be uncomfortable and distressing at first. Experiment with underwear- at first loose underwear was the best for me but then it turned where I wanted tight briefs to control the movement and stimulation of the jewelry. Just be aware that underwear can make a big difference in your comfort level during healing.

The sea salt bath is your friend- for the first couple weeks you will find relief from irritation and it helps the healing along.

My experience was by about week three I no longer needed the sea salt and underwear choices weren't critical. By week 4 my Miss locked me in a Glans Armor and I spent 3 straight days in it, then she unlocked me for a couple hours and then back in for over a week. You will be in ring-less chastity before you know it!

For me the Glans Armor was actually MORE comfortable than my barbell jewelry. The cage kept movement to a minimum in my underwear and the rigid PA mount meant that my penis wasn't overly stimulated. Now I'm at the 6? 7? week mark and I'm flexible with the barbell, the Glans Armor, underwear, it's all good.

Ask your KH to allow you to experiment with stimulation (in their presence of course). The mechanics of stimulation with the jewelry are totally different. What got you rock hard before may be a little over-stimulating now, and stuff that was dull before can rock your world now. You need to ''learn" your new penis and how it works with sex. It's new and improved.

And speaking of new-and-improved, if your KH likes penetration, oh my lord are they gonna love you soon! :+1:

Thanks for posting, still toying with the idea of getting a PA.

After 2 nights, the bleeding has almost entirely stopped. The piercing is already starting to feel "normal" ..although I am still getting used to the occasional shock of brushing or bumping it. Assuming the barbell is not moving in the piercing, I can barely feel it all.

Prior to getting pierced, I had been caged for most of 2020. Not feeling my cage is starting to feel weirder than the piercing itself. I woke to an actual uncaged erection this morning (which hasn't happened in months), that felt really strange. I can't wait to heal so I can wear a cage again.

Good luck! I was very nervous about a PA myself, and so got a frenum piercing instead, over 3 years ago. I wear an Evotion Bijou anchored to the piercing that is about as close as you can get to being unremovable without a key. It has worked very well for us.

    Just a short update.
I have discovered that (probably due to the extra setback of my piercing) my barbell may not be quite long enough. ...If I get an erection, I feel a little bit of a pinch.

By the way, that pinch might be the skin in the fistula gripping on to that barbell. I felt that "pinch" for about 3 weeks during healing.

I think if the bead on your barbell is not trying to go into your urethra, you are probably fine. BTW, I had that happen once, really weird feeling.
