    I've visited across the pond several times, and I love the people. However, we do have some cultural differences that we can't seem to get around. This happens to be one of them.

    Friends in the UK/EU can't wrap their heads around how big the US is, and how much rural area we have. Hell, I live in the northeast, and I'm blown away by the Midwest and western areas. Legal gun owners in many areas depend on their firearms for protection because the police might be hours away. Not just minutes, but hours.

    Even where I live, when you get into the hills, there are actual wild animals that will attack humans. Coyotes, bobcats, pumas, and bears are roaming around even suburban areas. In the rural districts, it's not usual for someone to take a shot at a coyote, which usually hunt in packs.

    With respect, I would suggest that you learn more about the topic, before you start accusing people of being "sheep" (and if your kink is sheep, then please make sure that they're consenting before you shag them).

    I greatly respect and enjoy Tom's views on the topic of chastity, but his opinion here on the matter of guns is more fantasy than reality. More importantly, our hostess has made her thoughts clear on the topic of introducing politics into this mansion, so let's attempt to refrain from political arguments and insults here.

    My comment to @Tom Allen was conceding that I probably don't have the knowledge to argue on a particular topic, with someone from a different culture and country. If I wanted to explore the topic further, I would PM him. I'm not sure, based on my current views we would agree in the end. However, I would respect his view, and not think him just one of the flock. I would still call him friend! The whole point of the hijacking dig, was this whole polarised approach. YOU DONT AGREE! So what! The media want us to all think we are so so different. It's bullshit. Even the most left and right wing people, have far more in common than not. Peace and love to all!

    Yes but equally bad is the reply that’s clearly fantasy but posted as a serious reply to an advice thread “I’ve lived the last 100 years in a burlap sack being beaten by 20 hot nuns and my chastity cage is made of mithril and superglue and my wife imposed chastity on me by force when I wasn’t looking”. It’s rarely helpful

    I mean some are just ridiculous, but I also think some on the border of reality might make people feel upset or have unrealistic expectations about how they should be living…
