Getting past those night time erections, share your methods!

    One thing that has always been a bit of a bother is the amount of time it takes me to get past an erection, have it subside and be able to get back to bed. I try to just focus on breathing, get up and walk around the house for a minute, use the bathroom, anything to change my mind but it’s always been a real challenge to get a serious hard on to relax, it’s an annoyance when I have to be up for work quite early. Any experienced chastity players here have any methods for working your way through these? Or is this just a fact of having my manhood encased in steel?

    I feel there are two things that work: Consistent wear. That is, night after night after night.....eventually, the body adapts.

    And two: smaller cage the better. The less things have a chance to grow and leverage the better. Small cage, VERY tight underwear.

    I second that it will take time to adapt. After wearing for almost 8 years 24/7, I sleep through the night without any problems.

    Step one…very small cage.
    Step two…wear for three plus years almost continuously.

    I’m not sure exactly when my body gave up on trying to get hard, but at some point it did. In fact sometimes if I take my cage off, my body still thinks it can’t get hard and it stays soft.

    Back when it was an issue, I found not drinking much before bed helped, if it does wake u, peeing usually helped to get back to sleep. Also, before bedtime, lube up ring so that once it does get hard it can slide back up once it goes soft. If not, the skin could stick and ring would stay tight.

    For me the smaller cages helps some, but I usually wake up just as it is getting hard, and if I get up right away and go pee, even if I don't feel like I have to, it usually doesn't get any worse. If I just lay there it gets worse.

    I'm still going through it :(
    I pee straight away and it goes down. I'm trying to drink less in the afternoon.
    I'm experimenting with ring size at the moment trying to get it just right, too tight seems harder to sleep in (the cage is short).

    Wear a strap to hold the ring in place close to your body so it can't push away and strain your balls. Found it's really helped me so far.

    These are all great suggestions. I do wake up from time to time. I go pee and back to bed. There is very little known medically about nocturnal erections and cock cage chastity. I am allowed a free night from time to time so my member can get his nocturnal exercise.

    it's a hard start but I find that after around 2 months of being locked full time, the erections fade away. Not completely but down to puffiness rather than bone hard.

    Once they have subsided you just need to stay locked.
    If you do unlock for a while and have unfettered erections I found that you have tp start again from the beginning.
    For me it's like trying to swim out to sea through big ocean waves. They break over youy and you get knocked back but if you just keep going you will rising and falling in the swell beyond breaking the waves.
    Treading water in a sort of erotic sea.

    I’m locked in a My-Steel, so I have no ring. I am playing with the settings a bit, and thankfully theres no tug on the testies just straining against the tube. I plan to hand over the keys to my wife in about a months time (break in period for this new belt) going to try to really break myself in before then but maybe thats just too quick lol. If If I don’t have work the next day I often spend the night harnessed and locked to the bed or in a straightjacket + harnessed, I’d love to get back to that as soon as possible, as thats sorta my “thing”but need to be really sure I’m not waking the wife to undo my bondage in the middle of the night due to my manhood hurting, that wouldn’t be good.

    As others have said, avoid drinking fluids especially tea, coffee, beer, coke and anything that is a proven diuretic.

    Again, as others have said, a good fitting cage will restrict before the erection forms. But do make sure the base ring isn't too small otherwise it will act just like a cock ring and that is designed to maintain an erection.

    And lastly, avoid porn and other thoughts. Just accept the fact that it's locked and nobody else knows, cares except for you and your KH.

    Alternatively, get absolutely pissed, bottle or two of wine ora serious about of whisky, maybe strong beers - Belgium ones are good at this - and you'll enjoy a full night's sleep, probably more and likely not too be able to function, work or drive in the morning, maybe even the afternoon.

    Avoiding drink before bedtime can work, but might not be the best solution.

    Your kidneys are going to produce urine all night anyway, so if you're the sort who often needs to, or doesn't mind getting up to, pee in the middle of the night whether locked or not, take advantage of the fact that getting up and having a pee will naturally clear the erection, whereas if your bladder is empty, it's more difficult to achieve a flaccid penis again!

    I find it easy to drop off back to sleep, so I find that going for a pee is the quickest and easiest way to solve the problem. At least I did, after years of being locked up it now knows better than to try to get erect at nights.

    I'm still adjusting myself...what works for me is I clench my fists and my feet for a few seconds n the blood.flow is diverted there instead. That's just what works for me.

    Agree with @Lazlo Toth . I found that the smaller the cage, the more those nasty erections are stopped in the early stages and the less problems I had. This too shall pass with time and consistency.

    I own three Cherry Keeper cages: From larger to smallest: The Standard, The Small, and the Short.

    I have most erection pain in the Standard. Medium amount in the Small. And the least in the Short. If I need a good night's sleep, I make sure I am wearing the Short. If I want "relax" in my cage, I wear the Standard.
