Something similar happened to me. My regular dermatologist retired suddenly, so I was looking for a new one. When I called the one I liked, they said their next opening was a few months out, or if I was able to be there in an hour they just had a cancellation. My old doctor only looked at what I showed him or wanted him to see. So I hurried off to the appointment. When I got there she said since you are new I want to look you all over. Take everything off except for your underwear. Gulp.
She didn't say a word about my being smooth, my panties, my tats, or my red toes. Since then I go as I am.

 

I recently went to the dermatologist. My owner allowed me to wear briefs, and I couldn’t see the cage at home. The lights were far brighter in the doctor’s office and I realized the cage was fairly well visible. I knew it was too late to do anything so I just relaxed. It was neither scary nor exciting. Just part of who I am now. I can’t imagine the doctor didn’t notice but it was irrelevant for the purpose of the visit. Felt like an accomplishment to not freak out.

 

If you do find yourself needing to get to the ER and there's time, best to remove the cage. They'll need to remove it if for x-rays, CTs and especially MRIs. Hopefully none of you fine healthy people will need treatment in the ER.

As @Naljeans pointed out what happens when a doctor sees that your locked up has a lot to do with how we react to it. If Your cage doesn’t get in the way of what the doctor needs to do than “It’s just part of Who You Are”. Tattoos are a lot more common than the were years ago and I’m sure they make it difficult for doctors to diagnose skin conditions when your body is an artists canvas.

Chastity cages are becoming more popular and how societ reacts to them starts with how we the ones that are wearing them react to them. If we don’t make a big deal about it when somenos sees it the exceptance should go a little smoother.

After people initial shock they’ll become more interested. It’s a slow process but we are all part of the New Trend Setters.

 

I had my annual checkup today. I asked my Wife if I had her permission to be unlocked. She was reluctant and asked why I wanted to be unlocked since the doctor already knows and shouldn't he see me as I am in the exam. I replied that (1) I would be embarrassed and (2) I thought it was inappropriate to confront someone with my kink. She didn't care at all about my embarrassment and she laughed out loud about (2). She then said it was ok for me to be unlocked

During the checkup I had a good conversation with the doc about the emotional and relationship benefits my wife and I have had due to chastity. He wondered about any physical issues (chafing for example) and I told him that after having my device fine tuned it was quite fine. I had brought the device with me and I showed it to him.

The main thing about my exam this year is that I am ecercisong at the gym regularly and eating a much better diet. I am stronger and I have lost weight. I am happier. These are all direct long term benefis from chastity.

 

Both. I was scared enough to ask if I needed to remove my underwear (she said no) but excited about a reasonably attractive female doctor seeing my cage. I was ready to answer any questions, but nothing happened.

Of course I've not been locked for any subsequent dermatologist appointments. She was replaced by an older man and it wouldn't be so exciting to do a show and tell with him.

 

Doctors are people, too! Some of the kinkiest people we ever met were doctors and others in the medical professions. (In our other life, we used to organize HUGE Fetish events-parties: "Stiletto" in LA and 'Original Sin" in Vegas. Since they had "play facilities" available, we had kink friendly doctors, nurses and chiropractors as a part of our dungeon staff.)

Some time back I had a return prostate checkup with my (male) urologist. I took my cage with me and used the opportunity after the check to ask about possible side effects of wearing a cage. He was way more embarrassed than me and had clearly never seen one before as he asked how it would fit. He quickly said there was nothing to worry about if the fit was correct and then ushered me out. I almost felt sorry for him, but I thought it an appropriate topic for a urologist. I suppose it's about time for my repeat checkup again, but the cage won't be mentioned or displayed.

 

Thanks! I've been doing this doctor for my primary care for over 15 years and I like him alot. He is our family doc.
He asked s several good questions like "What happens when you get an erection?". I responded "I can't that's the while point " .He asked "how did I have it off if my Wife controls it?" I replied that I had to ask Her permission.

My story. I am self locked permanently. I don't ever remove my cage, except for a quick cleaning. This is not kink for me.

I had my annual checkup with my primary doctor. I already had "the conversation" with her about chastity and the cage, on a previous visit. I told her what I do, why I do it. She is good with it. She was familiar with chastity cages. Since I always wear it, at my visit, I showed her myself in my cage.

She was fine with it, even encouraging me to stick with it. She noticed that there was quite a difference in my disposition as a result of my self locked chastity.

So, I just acted as if it was no big deal and so did she.

As for shaving, I think its a lot more common than we know. Do you think the average person wants hair on them, especially down there? I know I don't.

Years ago, same doctor, just told her straight up that I personally think it is gross and I do not like hair there. So I trim and shave for a nice clean smooth look.

I think we should stop over thinking, and when we go to the doctor, don't speak of what we do as different or strange. Speak about it as if everybody does it, and not act like its something weird, just act as if it is routine. They will likely view it similarly.

I’ve Seen a female doctor having just shaved my genital area, she didn’t comment, neither did the Male student doctor.

I’ve also had them look at my anus while wearing a cage. I’m not sure if they saw the ring of the cage or not. They didn’t mention it though

 

Never had a doctor say anything and mine is a lady dr, even the few specialist have not said anything. The one time anything was said was by a male nurse in OR waiting room waiting to be rolled into surgery and he commented never seen a male with nail polish on their toes.
And no it did not bother me

 

I have worn my diapers to the doctor since I wear them permanently. Always plain white ones as I have yet to have the courage to wear my pink ones with princesses on them. One day I will.

 

I have an annual medical for my pilot's licence which includes an abdominal examination. I have never found this embarrassing as I am quite sure that he has seen men and women who aee shaved.

I am allowed not to be caged for this examination as that might interfere with the examination. This concession is not to save my embarrassment.

 

Your KH doesn't trust you enough to take the key and unlock during the examination for the doc to do his/her job and lock back again once it's done ? (idk if that's practical, but doc are bound to secrecy after all ^^)

 

She trusts me completely. I would never cheat even when unlocked.

 

Your right they have seen both sexes shaved there, however i went in for day surgery 2 yrs ago and the male nurse stated he had never seen a male with painted toe nails...lol. I had removed chastity and remove finger nail polish but forgot the toes...lol

Haha, I did the same thing, but not a word was said about them being red, or my being smooth.

 

Very true.
If the reason for your visit to the doctor is nothing to do with your groin area, then you'll probably be keeping your knickers on anyway.
If it is anything to do with your groin area, then it's preferable that the doctor sees what you regularly wear there.

 

The Lady doctor I see is one of Mistress friends so She knows about me anyways and I get some of my pills from Her. She is ever so nice.
