Do most longer-term/serious chastity guys end-up with a small cage?

My flaccid cock isn't small (8-10 cm) as I'm a shower, not grower. But the cages tend to sink down and then half of it is empty. So I actually noticed over time that a 5 cm cage + strap to hold it close to the body is much better. With a metal cage, you're already reducing half the weight. The short cage also makes sleeping easier because erections won't happen as much, and it's more hidden under clothing.

 

I am also a grower/shrinker as well. The shorter the cage the better, my CH-33 is very easy and comfortable to wear. ( the cage in my avatar on the left, I am currently in the Just The Tip the bottom cage). As sonhee said the shorter cage also makes sleeping easier. I have found that the 38-40 mm ring which is on the small end of sizes is also the most secure for my size. I too have a small collection of miss judged cage lengths, silly me, not sure what I was thinking or was just wishful thinking.

 

Most guys learn that getting a size that stops them from growing tends to be more comfortable in the long run.

 

I still maintain that multiple sizes are a good thing. Based on condition, I prefer quite a range of sizes.

Sleeping = Small as practical.
Needing to pee in public = medium (or some would call "correct")
Being active = larger with a little extra breathing room.

Same with ring sizes. I rotate with round, flat oval, tall oval, single, double, sized between 45 and 48mm. All have an ergo shape, however.

I find that if I wear a specific combination for extended multi-day periods the flaw in the fit (such as it may or may not exist) becomes more apparent. Mixing up the program greatly enhances my TUK. (Time Under Key)

I think when I was new I was wary of small cages incase they hurt but quite quickly halved the size and then fine tuned.

It's tricky as matching up the perfect cage and ring isn't always easy.

I've just downsized slightly but it felt better straight away.

I don't believe in permanent shrinkage but do believe that a snug cage is best and that when locked your penis will shrink a bit to accommodate a smaller cage.

I'm intrigued by the flat cages but not for long term wear.

Pretty common. I started with the generic cage from China and the only thing that I got close was the size of the base ring.

Next I measured and worried it would be too short. Wrong again.

Several cages into my experience and I think I have the diameter correct, the base ring spot on, the ball gap between the ring and cage really close and the cage itself could still be a quarter inch shorter.

I'm at the close enough stage right now but I think you keep tweaking as your body adjusts and you continue to learn.

I started with a CB6000s which was 3.25", half an inch smaller than my shortest flaccid measurement and fitted well, then had a stint in a Vice which is similar size. However after a year I've lost around half an inch. I'm now in a very snug stainless steel device I bought off AliExpress.

 

I would guess that most "growers" start off with too large of cages and size down over time as they try to find the best fit. Before I transitioned and everything shrank, I was quite small when flaccid (1" to 1.5" or so, depending on conditions). I started off with a Holy Trainer 2, in the smallest size they offered at the time, and still had miles of room inside the thing. I later switched to a Mature Metal Queen's Keep, which was a much better fit but still a tad large in spite of following their measurement instructions to the letter.

If I still had balls and wanted to get a new cage, I would opt for something very small. Smaller than seems like would fit. Even one of the micro cages might be a good choice.

 

LOL....YES!!! Those of us that have lived through the "Evolution of Modern Day Chastity Devices" know EXACTLY what you're saying.
