Having recently had the procedure, I can tell you that when you are in recovery,, it is just until the sedation wears off and you are not conscious enough to do any such thing.

 

I had it recently also, and if I remember correctly, once you wake up, they let you rest there for a little while so you're less wobbly then they let you get dressed and go wait for your wife to pick you up. So my point was, when he's getting dressed, he could put his PA back in. Then when he gets hope he can restore the cage.

 

When I went for my first colonoscopy, I honestly didn't even think of my PA. When the nurse was going through instructions, they mentioned "Body Jewelry". I mentioned it, and they requested I remove it. The problem was, they didn't have the special reverse pliers that you need to remove a 4ga CBR from a titanium ring. They got me some normal ones, and I tried, but I couldn't get the ring open. lol. We opted to leave it with a note that about "Body jewelry on his penis".

All went well, but I made a mental note to remove the jewelry before the next one , which happens to be coming up in 3 weeks. I'll want to put mine back on ASAP too. I just stretched to 0ga a few weeks ago. It should be fairly well stretched out by that point, but I don't want to have to fight with it.

Not at all! My daughter dropped me off and picked me up! Besides I had other things on my mind. They don't do a colonoscopy without reason! Afterwards I was able to breathe a sigh of relief thankfully.

 

That's the point really. Although everything is done to make it as "dignified" as possible if something does go wrong, then dignity will go out of the window! Also a colonoscopy is not done without a reason and therefore I personally had a certain level of anxiety in case something was actually wrong. Thankfully everything looked good and I no longer have to go through it again. That was my second!

 

So no relief for you then, ha ha. Well, hopefully you got some relief from a negative result on the colonoscopy.
