Question about hygiene and skin health

I am a similar grower. My previous favourite cage was plastic but it suffered similar to your description. Using qtips and soap to get inbetween the bars, power shower, etc. all failed.

I now have a custom steel cage (Badassworkroom BA03 witrh frenum attachment) and all of the issue have gone. 3 weeks so far and my KH says if everything is okay at Christmas then a quick unlock and then she wants to go until Spring (3 months).

 

I believe I saw this exact same question on Reddit. What's up?

 

@Mistress-M keeps me in an open cage. It's easy to clean through the bars in a shower, so no problems at all. I am locked for a very long time between unlocks (my next unlock is not for the foreseeable future as M floated the only key away on a helium balloon recently!). Open bars is the way to go!

 

Couldn’t agree more.. hygiene is so important and I wouldn’t want you locked for so long if you weren’t able to clean your cock properly.

For washing, I use a soft brush and a removable shower head with a jets. As far as soap, I use Summer’s Eve or similar as it doesn’t irritate my piercing. The biggest thing is to dry after you pee really well. If I’m not getting out that week, I try to take a bath and soak for a little while. Good luck!

 

I was also a grower, but never grew like that. My cage is metal with thinner bars and easy to clean with a face cloth and soap. I also use a cream hair remover weekly and over the years some of the hair has stopped growing. I did have moisture and not the best hygiene with enclosed cages, they would have to come off daily. Going 30-40 days without removal is no problem at all and went 122 without removal with no issues, smells, or skin discomfort.

 

hello @DiltonDoiley and welcome to here. oooh you are big there. praps you cud ask who has your key if you can be let out to have a proper wash there and after be lock up again cos it dont take long to do.

Can you describe what do you mean with frenum attachment please? (picture is welcome ). I do not see any solution for frenum piercing on this site. You have your own solution?

I started with CB6000s which was terrible, now I am at holytrainer which is much better, but after 2-3 days hygiene is necessary so my wife is looking for something where is less maintenance needed.

 

1. I shower right away in the morning
2.. regular soap and shower head to get in there good
3. After shower I apply baby oil gel between cage and sack, along base ring.

this keeps things from sticking, skin free to move, and any moisture tends to bead off. I also wear cotton undies that wick away moisture.

 

I'm also a grower who tried many devices before finding the recipie that allowed me to go 24/7/365, and without removing for cleaning.

My personal recipie (for the last couple of years):

• Hygiene: shower daily, blow dry, then add baby power to keep everything dry and moving. A tiny (~3mm) dab of lanolin smeared under the base ring before bed.

• Cage style: MM jailbird with a paracord waistband (pictures in my gallery)

• Cage size/fit: I've found that I need a Cage just a little shorter than I am completely flaccid, and just a little larger in diameter. If the Cage is snug on the diameter, it 'turtles' overnight, where each erection attempt pushes it a little farther from my body. The slightly larger diameter allows everything to push back into the Cage between attempts, and this (in conjuction with the waistband) keeps more of me inside the cage to resist the next attempt.

Exploring the "smaller is better" trend, I did have a smaller jailbird made that is very comfortable, looks great, and does well overnight, but with me pressed against the bars at all times I can't keep the skin dry and moving, so it needs to come off after a couple of days.

Hi, I’m new to the site here but certainly not new to chastity. The cage pictured is quite open and really shouldn't cause the irritation you’ve described unless you have an allergy to something thats in the cage. My KH, wears her key on her bra strap so as the bra keeps it off her skin as she is allergic to the metal. When she wears it around her neck she has 24 hours max before she breaks out in very visible skin irritation. The metal cages are great but there is a lot of problems with some types of metal mixed with particular people’s skin.

 

I have 2 different Cobra cages. I started with the S+ 1.05x (I'm a little more girthy) and now usually wear the Cobra N+ 1.05x . I am a "grower" and I find the smaller size fits better and prevents my pee hole from moving around. Keeping any cage clean can be a challenge. There is no question that metal is easier. I also have a Looker 01 cage (stainless steel) that I can wear for days and it's easy to clean....but it's heavy and requires a strap to hold closer to my body. To answer your question, here's what I have found to be the best way to keep clean without removing the cage every day. Get sponge tipped swabs and Hibiclens. Both are available on Amazon. The Hibilens is antimicrobial and antiseptic (they use it in hospitals).The sponge swabs won't come apart like a Q-tip, they have longer handles and work great. Once you have worked the Hibiclens into the cage, around you glans etc.,(obviously easier if you're circumsized) then get a hand held shower head to thoroughly rinse and dry well using a hair dryer. Hibiclens is probably the only thing that will prevent bacterial growth and a funky rotting fish smell. Hope that helps.

 

I’m in a enclosed tube style device now as madam loves the complete restriction of touch, I use q tips or cotton buds to clean up inside my device after peeing. But my madam does unlock me every 5ish days to wash and keep things fresh.
