    Hey
    I've started hearing a faint clicking of the key against the plastic of my cage in public is there anyway to prevent this especially while am at work

    You could wrap a big rubber band around the lock.

    What are you doing with the key? :) I assume you meant lock? As @Blue Moon said you are probably the only one that hears it. If you're really concerned you can just tape the lock to the cage or wrap tape around the lock.

    I know what you mean by the clicking. That's why I switched to built in locks. But as others have said, you can use tape or wrap to help quiet it.

    As above, I think built-in locks are more secure, aesthetically more pleasing . . . and completely silent !

    Been there as well. You think everyone can hear it! When I was first doubled locked and walking around naked you could hear the clicking of the lock and security tag. I would hold the locks when walking around my wife as i was embarrassed for her to hear it. Right away she said she loved hearing the sounds of the tag and lock. I was never to hold them around her again. That deepened my submission to her.

    Maybe you hearing your lock will deepen your submissive side as a constant reminder of who put that lock on you. :) Plus, your wife might like to hear you click a little too!

    Same here! My madam loves the sound of my lock tapping my cage! She will mention it when we are out sometimes, but if your not in to tight underwear can stop it as well.

    My question is why hide the clicking sound from others? When at work then just change how you think you may look to others.... When in public... CLICK AWAY.. Let them wonder what the hell is the clicking noise

    I agree with the previous post. Why not just enjoy being locked up and possibly having others ask what's the source of the sound. But then I am an attention whore and love to flaunt our lifestyle.

    I love the built in locks such as the Holy Trainer. Frankly the built in locks are more secure....no escape "by cutting the lock" :)

    A device using Integral locks or a rubber band or of course just let it click. Mine did sometimes get heard clicking by non-partners but seldom and none of them ever asked me directly why the sound was emanating from my crotch area.

    This is probably true. On the other hand, I bought a HTv3 Nano recently, and my wife really doesn't like it. It seems she prefers to see the lock, and she loves the look of metal. In a way, it looks more secure even if it might not be.

    Of course, she also enjoys being able to tease me by pushing her finger between those metal bars!

    i am in a Mature Metal Jail Bird with the security screw but m'Lady had the lock stud extended to accommodate a decorative lock. She likes the sound of the metal against metal click when I walk I wear basketball shorts around the house when we can't be CFnm. The grandkids think it's funny that Grandpa makes noise when he walks, but they don't know why. They think it is the keys in my pocket.

    All my underwear except for 2 'normal' pair for medical appointments are pouch front either lacy or thongs. They keep things quiet when in public, too.

    I had this issue at the gym in my previous cage. It was entirely noticeable. I switched to panties soon after, which fixed the issue. Any snug underwear should do the trick.

    Just got locked up in my newly arrived Vice Mini. Both my Wife and I like the look of the 'classic' padlock but I noticed the clicking sound from just walking around. Actually we both like the effect. And I'm sure that when my Wife allows me to put my panties back on, it will remain quiet.

    That extended lock stud not only holds my padlock (sideways) but in the front where your wife has a decorative padlock my wife puts a plastic numbered security tag. No way to slide my cage off without breaking her tag. I love the control but I do rattle!

    If you really want to draw attention, wear the lock so it clicks and buy / insert the rattler steel plug, it has a pin in it and as you walk or move, the pin knocks against the steel and rattles.

    I've personally gone with some of the suggestions here. Electrical tape is always a good bet. If you are still worried about hearing the clicking of the lock through the electrical tape you take an elastic (or hair tie) and wrap it around the cage and the lock too.

    Also as some people have mentioned here too that some of the noises are probably ones that you only will notice.

    I enjoy the sound of the padlock clicking against my cage. It reminds me of the predicament I find myself in. If others should hear it, they're just going to think it's something in my pocket or something. I hear it and am reminded that my ridiculous little penis has been surrendered.
