What pain is involved getting a PA ?

    Pain for the PA is ok, I enjoyed it, but I am masochist.
    I have a reverse PA that was more of a challenge and the worst was the Ampallang, I would not do it anymore as it does not work with chastity and it was no fun anymore.

    I just had my PA done yesterday, so the memory is quite fresh.

    Pain felt like I accidentally zipped up some skin on the shaft up, lasted for the duration of the piercing. Maybe like an 6/10 in severity. The stretching to an 8g was less than pleasant too, but overall not too bad. Afterward the only pain was just slight burning, very minor.

    Bleeding has been almost nonexistent but that doesn’t seem to be the norm, suppose I’m lucky. +30 hours after the piercing at the moment, it’s a little tender but not bad.

    Go for it!

    If you lose interest, you can remove the jewelry and it will eventually close up on it's own.
    And No, I don't think you are too old to get a PA.

    I can’t get any piercing that can be shown and I don’t like tattoos so I’m interested in challenge. There is a chance it is something I would like to focus on.

    You have to be willing to do the cleaning and soaks for it to properly heal. But compared to most piercings the PA heals fast so not a huge commitment,

    Im like you. Well I don’t like tattoos and I don’t want anything visible. So I got my nipples and PA done. Previously I had a Dydoe. Now that hurt. Omg it was painful. The PA and even the nipples were not young compared to the Dydoe.

    After you heal piercings are no biggie. Make sure your jewelry is ok and clean. Then enjoy!

    Other than preference, why would you stretch your piercing beyond, say 8 or 6 gauge? I understand why a thin ring might act like a cheese wire so getting a larger piece of metal is better but are there other reasons to stretch? (Gauge up or is it down?)

    I felt more, I guess you could say, pinching when I was at 8ga. I went all the way to 2ga and found they 4ga was most comfortable for the cage I'm in.
