I'm sorry if I repeat that there was already such a topic, but I'm interested in how to choose women's clothes for a man's body? I just can't find a bra size. it seems to me that the position of my boobs is higher and the back straps are not under the shoulder blades. And how do you cope with the selection of women's clothing?
the average xx is 5' 6" so most xx clothing is made for 5'8" or less. so with bras the over the shoulder strap are often too short. find ones with expandable straps. some can make the stretch though many do not. the average physically fit xx is a 32b and it seems all bra sizes are derived from this ratio. so as the base strap increases in size so do the cup size even though it is still called a b cup. the formula for xxs is measure just under the breasts around then the same for the breasts at the tits around. if the base is 34 and breasts are 36 then subtract 34 from 36 = 2 so you would be a 34b or a 32c or a 36a as the base gets larger they assume she is so by getting fatter and the breast are mostly fat so that b cup becomes much larger which in most cases is about right. over the years puck's chest has changed dramatically. we would take the two measurement for women and one more around the upper chest just under the arm pits. to get a close to accurate cup size add the lower to the upper and divide by two. then subtract that from the middle measurement and subtract 1 and later we subtract 1.5. puck started at 48-52-51. so 48+51=99/2=49.5 52-49.5=1,5 -1=.5 not even an a cup. for the band size we subtract 1.5 and round down to the nearest size. so puck started at a 46a. not that we put a bra on her then. puck now measures 41-48-43. 41+43=84/2=42 48-42=6-1.5=4.5 or a d cup 41 -1.5= 39.5. round down to 38. so puck now wears mostly a 38d though some 38c fit ok too but provides more cleavage. she says 40c are more comfortable but less supportive and not suitable for outside chores. sport bras do not seem to work for puck as they ride upward over time. other pucks in our community that are 5'10" or more with base bands measuring 38 or more use this formula successfully. since feminizing puck i have become very aware of how difficult tall xxs have in getting clothes to fit.
I agree very tricky to get bras that fit if you are tall and/or fat. I'm 6'1" and 210lbs and a 36c or 38b seem to be the best fit, after trying many brands and sizes.
As any woman knows, like a pair of jeans, bra sizes can vary significantly with different brands and even styles. A cheap way to find your size is to go to a thrift store and try them on. Or you can use Ma'at Rebekah's nicely detailed formulae, but where's the fun in that? Best to use the formulae to get a good estimate and then go out and try some on!
unfortunately, the straps are the wrong length. for large men, it is very difficult to choose the right bra size.
Have you looked at lingerie for men? There are several sites that do it, it’s all very femme and girly but it’s cut mens sizes. I’ve got quite a few thongs/briefs and a couple of body suits to. They also do bras/camis ect.
