I'm going to go out on a limb and support the original premise made by Jaysaysyes. When I'm locked 24/7, there are no unlocks for "maintenance".

If I would go 4 weeks 24/7, and someone else does the same, but unlocks twice a week for shaving or cleaning .... that's not quite the same.

Here's the thing everybody forgets: the word "permanent" conjures up all sorts of scary/hot fantasies in the mind. No matter how many ETLAs (extended three letter acronyms) we come up with, they will not be as hot, nor will they play into our own fantasies like the word "permanent." This is why we see posts like "I will be in permanent chastity fir the whole month of Locktober."

And as I wrote many, many years ago (because I am now old enough to have become a student of human nature), guys are not going to use a term if it's not hot to them. That's why I made a point to steer away from the word in that Caged/Denied matrix; the best we can hope for giving them a way to imperfectly describe what is happening in their own minds.

It has really only been about 6 hours. After my shower and getting ready for the day it will go back on for the day, and then come off for bed time.

I'm currently in the stages of building up my tolerance to wearing it. No issues, I think I finally got all the gaps and sizes correct. Just not trying to jump into it and then have to take it off for a week or two to heal from a skin irritation or something of that nature.

But, just so I can enjoy being taken down a peg, I will make my own lame suggestion: TSLIT (tee-slit!). Time since last impure thought. After all, we're engaging in chastity, and chastity done properly is completely pure, as you would expect from a 19th century woman named Chastity, wearing only white dresses, thinking constantly of her God. Never an impure thought.

This, of course, argues against any possible use of the word "permanent", and therefore is in opposition to the post from Mr. Allen, of which I am in 100% agreement.
