For any of you long term wearers who have a PA and wear a ball traop device: have you experienced shrinkage? Does that cause an irritation on your piercing over time? Have you had to transition to a shorter cage? Or does the PA prevent the shrinkage from occurring?
You have a PA? Shrinkage, yes. It’s been gradual over the past few years. Not sure whether that’s age, lifestyle, cage etc. But one thing I can say is my cage was sent away to be shortened by a full inch, it was 2 & 1/2 inches originally, now the cage is 1 1/2 inches and I can honestly say I now get the care on so much easier than before, even my k/h would struggle to get me back in it in the past, but now, she just slips me straight back in, easily. Now, is that because of shrinkage, or other factors, I’m not sure, but she certainly says I’m now much smaller. Hope that helps, probably not really, but I tried.
