I have a real one. If the knock off works well, the real Kink3D will be a better version of it. With the real Cobra, you have a lot of sizing options.

Long term wear - not as easy to keep clean as a metal cage. If your keyholder allows you remove the cage once a week or so, you should be fine.

 

I love my kink 3D cobra cage. It quickly became my favorite of all my cages. Very comfy and lightweight.

I wore a genuine cobra before my flat cage. It was 45mm ring and tight size cage ( now it’s labeled as n+ size ). It was very comfortable and lite weight to wear, barely noticed it. Wife was going to downsize it to nub, then decided I needed a flat cage instead. If they made a flat or slightly inverted she would probably get me one.

Love my Kink3d. We have it in both black and pink. My wife loves the shade of pink. Compared to the weight of a metal cage that can pull and chafe, this is like it's part of you.

As far as gap, if you need more space, I recommend the curved ring. My balls like to be high and tight so that works for me.

We love our Kink3d, light weight, easy to clean (come out once a week for shave & through cleaning), took a bit to get the right size ring and cage. currently in the nano wide with an 4 XD ring. as a grower, find that the thicker ring doesn't flex and therefore doesn't pinch. Do switch to a size 3 ring in the warmer months. My KH loves it and thinks it looks good. (see picture in my gallery) happy to answer any questions.

Kink 3d was my first cage and I like it. They also have a marketplace for used ones. Might be a good place to start to ensure sizing. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the URL for that. Maybe somebody on here knows

 

I have a real one too. When I bought it I already had HT5 and K3D felt a lot more uncomfortable. I have very sensitive skin and the holes in the cage were causing issues with my skin on the penis.
The ring felt too thin. The feeling was like I have a wire around my balls. Probably because I was used to the ring of HT5, which is thicker. K3D also have thicker ring, but I think it wasn't curved and I wanted curved. So I went with the thinner, but curved.
Right now K3D feels very comfortable and is my travel cage. Mainly I use BAWR BA-21, but don't want to deal with the airport metal detectors. Actually I just arrived home from trip abroad and changed into BAWR BA-21. The plastic K3D is perfect for traveling.
Probably my only issue with K3D is that I need to adjust the penis before peeing, but I can probably fix that with smaller K3D.
Overall it is a good cage. A little pricey for a plastic cage, but if money are not an issue I would say go for it. I did and still believe it was a good decision unlike the HT5, which lock broke after couple of months.

 

I thought about buying pink K3D recently (my current K3D is black) with the same exact reason.
But I dismissed the idea. Don't think it will work very well on my mindset. I already use pink shoes, pink boots, pink hoody, pink t-shits - all in home and outside. Adding something else, which is actually not visible shouldn't have big effect.

Another plus for the Kink3d is their shaft rings. my KH loves to swap out the cage for the shaft ring, locking it in place to the base ring when she wants to play, of course, no cumimng allowed without Madam's permission. Then she can immediately lock her toy away when she is satisfied

 

Sorry to be ignorant but what does the shaft ring do? Is it just a cock ring?

 

the base ring is essentially a cock ring, the shaft ring replaces the cage keeping the balls trapped while applying pressure to the base of the shaft. the picture might better explain
