Rigid Chastity - Time to delivery

Ouch....
I ordered a device Impaler 03 (with the hook of the Impaler 02) on November 27. I received a confirmation from them on December 11. I do not expect to receive the cage before March but what is happening to you makes me afraid.

I suggest you to ask them for an immediate refund, you ll see what will they answer.

 

I ordered a Modular Chastity Device - model 01 on 10.10.2018 and got the confirmation on 13.10.2018. Delivery Time 9-12 weeks. That was the last Information.

 

Did you ask them a refund? if so, did they react?

I’ve ordered two devices from them, each has taken about 4 months to arrive. Each was no communication.

For people that live their life waiting for something, we aren’t an especially patient group.

The device will arrive, it will take awhile, and you won’t hear from them.

 

I have the same experience from dealing with them. After 15 weeks of waiting and no replys to my mails I started a Paypal dispute. An hour later I recevied a mail from Rigid apologizing for the delay. They promised it will be shipped on monday, so we'll see...

 

It arrived today, exactly four months after I placed the order. Wow is the best word to describe the device. It is extremely well built and the finish is flawless!

 

I ordered mine in November 2016 and sent in March 2017.

I had to send it back to be altered and that took about a month

 

I place my order in december last year but still no word from them... I have sent them several e-mails and feedback from they web pages but still nothing... I received order confirmation mail in december but thats all what i heard from them.... Seems like they dont know what is customer service...

 

I hope you’ve had a refund then?

I just receive a message from Rigid Chastity: Your item is in production and it will be delivered in a couple of days . Wow!! I will finally receive my 05 Bye bye padlock and open welcome my new cage <3

 

It’s a really poor state of affairs when you have to submit a paypal dispute to get a response. I’m glad you’re be getting your new device soon though

 

i know, it sucks... Next device is definetly some other brand if needed. I knew there might be some troubles with this company but i thought i would be more lucky, so wrong. They really know how to get rid of paying customers.

 

I ordered 2 devices from Rigid and exactly the same issues as other posters.
Great workmanship, nice website, poor communication, very long lead time.
Also if you ask for specifics like a larger gap ring to cage etc. It will most likely go ignored.
I have had issues with the piercing hardware not properly aligned, but was able to bend it to fit better.

What distinguishing feature and elements drew you to RigidChastity in the face of communication and execution issues?

Details from my experience:
I ended up not completing an order a few years ago because they just dropped off the discussion (actually about gap size and total length). I had a great conversation with the maker for a bit with earnest feedback about urination ease in various design options. I was about to order when one final question went unanswered and I never followed through.

I did buy one shaft only device second hand, so I know their build quality is very good. But that device ended up being too long and too heavy for me, and the hook wiggled more than I expected.

I agree their workmanship is very good, but I don’t know how you all tolerate poor communication to the point where you have to threaten reversing payment to get them to move on your order. I’ve heard too many iterations of this story.

If I am spending this much on a custom device, I don’t expect daily chats, but I expect adherence to the dimensions specified, or negotiation of those details before the work order starts.

For PA secured custom steel devices, the workmanship by MaleChastityNow (Mark Z) and Steelworxx (Dietmar) are both excellent and in the same price range.

And since I’ve modified my fit as I’ve increased my piercing gauge, and evolved my preferred gap and base ring shape/size, over the last five years... I feel I’ve had a better “total cost of ownership” with rapid responses for small modifications with MCN.

So back to my question from the top:
What distinguishing feature and elements drew you to RigidChastity in the face of communication and execution issues?

 

For me it was the option on model 5 to have the entire cage solid metal minus the hood. That's a big plus as I don't like skin bulging out chaffing.

 

I’m currently waiting on my HalfShell that I ordered in February. It really comes down to liking the design. I guess I could have asked Steelworxx to make me something similar but I would have felt bad about asking them to rip off another manufacturers design. MaleChastityNow doesn’t appeal to me because I want a closed device.

 

It seemed good quality with pa hook in a reasonable cost so i decided to test it. Even if Rigid Chastity is exelent quality it will be my last one because i dont want to buy products fron unreliable dealer. 6 month waiting without any reply from dealer is too much for me. I could wait forever if the dealer replys my mails and gives good reason why it is taking so long. Next time i will put my money on Lori even it is way more expencive.

 

On my side, I ordererd a device in late november 2018 and I did not receive it yet. They only answered my email when I treathened them to cancel my order. Few days before the Paypal limit of 6 months, (thus one month ago) they told me that the device was in production, so I did not open a dispute on Paypal.
Today I called the phone number, and of course nobody answered. I only received a text telling "how can I help you", so I ask them what was going on regardingmy order and I did not get an answer...

Should I expect to receive my device one day or should I consider that I have been swindeld?

I would like to order a Beast Muzzle but have held back and probably will not order one. Attractions are the use of an integrated lock rather than padlock or security screw of the Jailbird. I am used to a larger 8mm diameter base ring on my current cage rather than 6mm on the Jailbird. Also, being in the UK means (at least until Brexit) no import duties, but we may be beyond worrying about that if 6 month delivery is on the cards.
