    I've started wearing a CB6000 again.
Took a bit to get my foreskin to feel comfortable, but pulling back the foreskin before sliding in helped alot.

I've been browsing through here and online, and can't find a convincing answer for Long Term Uncut options.

    From what I've read:
Plastics like HT have to be removed every few days to a week.
Metal ones like MM Jailbird are easier but can pinch the skin.

What recommendations would you have/threads should I look at?

if you have to have a cage lock on you for longer than some days then the metal ones best cos they dont have to keep coming off and be cleaned.

When it comes to long term, metal is the way to go. I've never heard of a MM pinching the skin because they're custom made to fit the wearer.

I would go with steel as well!

resin or plastic gives (me) chafing, smell (over time) and even rash.

a good quality steel cage is the best for long term.

I found that having an “open” design with bars that allow some (minor) access gives the ability to thoroughly clean.

My latest new cage has just enough access for the fingertips to get in between the bars and when fully soft, I can retract the foreskin to clean the rim underneath and the head under the shower.

I agree that with the right sizing and the right quality, there should be no pinching…

In my opinion (as a novice) CB6000 is not suitable for long-term use because, if the cock when flaccid fills completely the tube (as aestetically and functionally should be, imho), it is impossible to thorougly clean the tool and the cage unless the cage is removed and everything washed and dryed. CB6000, to me, is visually pleasing because the thick base ring (depending from the individual anatomy), pushes the balls away and the tube spread them nicely. However, the resulting bulge would make difficult (impossible?) to practice sports as well as leisure activities like cycling or riding an horse or a motorbike, wereas the balls are very accessible and exposed for the amusement of the partner. At least this is true for my anatomy. I am pretty sure that other designs (HT ?) make life easier. Nevertheless I think that the CB6000 series is a very nice sex toy. No doubt that a stainless steel cage is much safer in terms of hygiene (and chastity) but, if the base ring is closed, is also much less safe in the case the cage must be removed in an emergency. Everything must be balanced according to individual anatomy, desire, safety and experience.

My Jailbird from MM never pinches It's steel. however I sometimes smear a little vaseline around the parts like the ball ring , that can rub a bit to much . I think a bit over 6 months 24/7 is my longest time caged. I'm uncaged niow.

This is the never ending question! Most will say it must be metal, then a some will say plastic is the way to go, but it’s down to each individual! And your skin type, there will always be some people that will get irritated my metals being in contact with there skin constantly!
So just go for what feels best for you, what is the most comfortable for you.

@Vesuvius Hi. Like yourself i am uncut.
I have had so much trouble finding a long term cage.
Plastic and silicone isn't an option for me going long term.
I have found a steel device thats comfortable, protects my foreskin with additional bars and is easy to keep clean. An elusive combination!
I now wear it long term without issue.
Im wearing it in my pictures
