Penis Avatars

I do find it alarming that there's people who are fearful of speaking up. One of the reasons why I've personally always came back to this forum before others is the fact that I can express myself freely. With the amount of members we have here not everyone is always going to agree but everyone should be free to voice an opinion and not be scared to do so.

 

At first I also had my penis as avatar. But a moderator explained it and I immediately changed it.
I think most in chastity are more than willing to please his kh or wife or dominatrix. So why not respect the wiches of all women on this board and use a more woman friendly avatar.
Maybe more women start craving a kh role in time. It won't happen if they are scarred away at first sight.

 

I think it's quite clear why "we are doing this again" you may consider it to be "done to death" but obviously others do feel a need to express themselves.
Further more I think it's a shame to have to have rules about something like this.
Having to have rules about anything just illustrates an inability to be able to debate or to act with any degree of respect.

 

The only people that are scared are the new members who are being bullied in to changing there avatars.
There is a board who will decide on rules on the forum.
The new setup of Mods and Board members will help provide advice or solutions to members concerns.
So there should not be private messages to new members telling or advising them to change there avatars.

 

I must respectfully disagree with the notion that you should have or should not have 'this or that' as your avatar on the basis of what someone else wants to see, no matter who they are.
I think you should chose the avatar that you feel is the best for you. This conversation should serve as an invitation to put some thought into how you want to represent yourself for you own sake. What does a 'cock-shot' say about you? Do you think it's how you want to project your image on the community? If so, well, bravo. I'll keep reading what I want to here.
I don't think we should allow this to devolve into bickering over who's motives behind either side are more deserving of 'official support from on-high.'

 

I really understand that creativity is not required to simply have one's caged male member as his avatar. I chose to depict some of my organic red okra. It might be suggestive, but unique.
This forum really does warrant respect. If the owner finds some pictures repulsive, make a rule not to use certain pictures.
I will continue to read and contribute, but not on this subject.

I do like the Mansion to be friendly environment, and to stay like that. We are all one way or the other at the edge of social acceptance from the surrounding society and we can all benefit from a little shelter, understanding and acceptance. We get that from the Mansion, and its many helpful, inspirational, curious and tolerant members.

Male chastity can be a lonely struggle, and I fully understand the urge to put that struggle on display. I have had that urge myself.
A passing face for most however, but not for all.

My understanding is that while there are few RULES here, there is certainly etiquette.

If some members need more help with understanding what it is, then so be it.
The fact remains that the majority of those with a stated opinion are against dick avatars.
Those with no opinion have stated that they have no opinion, but there is a clear preference here not to have them.

If members insist on having them then so be it, but my preference is for them to be discouraged.

 

I broadly agree. Though not fanatic about it.
And possible exception for locked ones showing how, especially if in a really good steel device.

 

Hey - Everybody
This thread has been marked with "No Further replies" for mortal members. A bit confusing it may seem since moderators can keep on punching in posts. It is better to move the debate about the issues to the forbidden passage, where we can discuss vividly.

On the matter - penis avatars- I am about to present to you all ( moderators) my take on the matter along with some house rules and guidance for moderators. I hope I will be able to post it today - in a couple of hours. Just so busy in my company today....;-)
When it is published to all moderators I would like some feedback , before the final set of rules and penis avatar policy is made known to all members and visitors of the Mansion.
