Give that it needs to be this tight, do you (or any of the other serious wearers) think there is any point in getting the cable - or is the solid rod preferable?
I haven’t tried the rod. The cable works just fine for me. But it seems like the rod would shift the belt up if you sit? I don’t know…since I don’t have the rod.
Hello, I had emailed Neosteel on this and they replied with 2 pics. Very interesting….I don’t know why they don’t make this an option.? It’s not complicated at all. I actually would prefer it this locking in the back. There would be no shenanigans trying to break it off. Seems the key holder would prefer this as well? Especially if there is a seal involved….thoughts?
Hello, two comments from me: 1. cable vs. rod: This could make a difference in number 2. Whereas with the cable you have the option of pulling it aside a few millimetres to create a clear path, the rod is rigid. I've only risked it once without pulling the cable aside - it's no joy. Further, I agree with lockmeup4life, sitting could become uncomfortable with the rod. 2. Lock on the back: I also find this a very appealing idea, it increases this feeling of dependence immensely. However, the lock on the waistband rubs very hard on fabrics in the long run. I've had several pairs of underwear and even trousers that had holes in that area. So if you lie in bed, your need for sheets will increase immensely in the long run. Alternatively, you could tie some kind of protection around your hips in bed.
I’m imagining it might be good to have some kind of silicone cover over the lock area - possibly for either front or back versions, to protect clothes etc.
Yes, a good idea. It is especially the bolts on the fasteners that can damage clothes. I have ruined some delicate panties with them.

I emailed Carina several times with questions, the responses were very good, and the first email was answered within a few minutes, so I thought it was an automatic reply email or a failure email that was sent back to me. . I ordered it in October and was able to take advantage of the "Locktober offer" discount, which gave me 10% off. . lucky! The delivery time is 10-12 weeks, but has anyone ordered recently? I'd like to know how long it actually took. Once I get it, I would like to post and share my impressions. thank you..
Ive had mine for 2 years now. Not sure what the new turnaround time is. But mine was delivered exactly 2 months after ordered. Longest wait ever. I was so excited I remember
yes there are some long delivery times... I know that one of the problems is that there is only one place in Germany that makes that coating... and since neosteel is a small customer so......

I ordered mine in three first week of October, so also playing the waiting game. Ordered a fun spaceless with the solid steel bar instead of the flexible wire.
I actually ordered in october as well, first email naswered by Carina within 12 hours but the following 2 emails were left unanswered and now its december :S I didn't realise due to the way the order form was laid out that you didn't have to pay immediately after the order, so I had effectively dumped my money before the order got confirmed unfortunately

Having owned a Sports and a Fun model from Neosteel, both are very good and there are pro's and con's to both. I like having the shield on the Sports model, its not even for security but for comfort reasons. I have definitely had more than one smashed testicle with the fun belt, for instance getting into a car. The shield really does help with this. I thought about getting a Marvelous but the shield does not extend down as far so I am unsure it would have the same benefit. I would definitely like to get a new Fun module, but so far I cannot find one second hand and Neosteel has been fairly unresponsive to my questions - I just want what I feel is a small customization before I order, so for now I am stuck with the Sports belt I have. Wish I hadn't gotten rid of my Fun belt, oh well.
no.. I'm sorry to admit that Neosteel is not quite so good at communicating with their skills anymore. I bought a "FUN" but it doesn't fit and I got Neosteel to make a "dims" so I hope I can use my "FUN" I was at Messe in Hamburg and here I met neosteel but it didn't give the result I had hoped for so now I go back and wait for mail and a "dims" that has been paid for which was completed in 6 to 8 weeks but now 9 weeks have passed and I haven't heard / seen anything But I expect to come down to Neosteel at their address during my summer holiday... but there are still 6 months to go ;-(
I've sent a few emails over the last 7 days and have had no response. Which is annoying, thinking they have downed tools until the new year.
They did finally respond to my email last week, which I had sent a week or two prior. Now waiting on the next reply. At this rate I should be able to place my order in a month or so. I am still actively searching for the items I need second hand so if I find that first, that's a lost order for them. I am sure there is a slowdown over the holidays, many businesses are like that and this isn't the kind of item that can be cranked out and shipped as a last minute gift. So I am trying to be understanding about it.

I ordered mine on the 6th of October and was told 10 to 12 weeks, I'm now being told that it should be ready to ship towards the end of February. They say on their website that they will let you know if there are going to be any delays, will they didn't tell me anything, no emails, I had to chase them, I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm on the endlessly delayed train and may be lucky to get anything. I hope I'm wrong, as I've wanted one for years and it is a fucking ton of money.
