Yes, I am pretty much the same! The first 3-4 days not much is happening. Day 5 and 6 are getting a lot more interesting. Then horniness comes up until 10-14 days, then horniness even get less.
The longest period for me was 30 days. Honestly, I didn't like one month lock period. A week or two is a best period for me.
I don't want to achieve one month between orgasm, two weeks - that's what I want.

Luckily, my wife plays with me, but it's only me, who starts a lock period. When lock was started, she very reluctant to unlock me and tend to keep me in cage for longer, then I really would like.

Likewise, about the same for me initially in the cycle (first couple of weeks). I found 6 weeks is my peak sweet spot. Lots of good horniness leading up to that, but then around week 6 it flatlines and an orgasm makes things interesting again.

Though my wife is trying different things, to see what builds my peak attention and energy focused on her. She hasn't determined where my orgasms really benefit her, but takes it on faith that I need them and that it helps keep me charged up. I do think there's something to a) knowing that one is coming sometime and b) having an orgasm to just have some time to relax for a few days.

What I don't like so much about this is that 6-week time frame is pretty predictable. It would be much more maddening fun to not know when withing that time...so it could be an orgasm after 6 weeks, then one the next day, then none for 3 weeks and suddenly there it is, then not for 5 or 6 weeks. So maybe the real timeline is average of every 3-4 weeks. Kind of like you're saying with your 2 week preference. To never know if tonight is the night is way more fun than kinda being able to roughly know (and it's far off in the future).

There's no logic to it for me. The horniness just comes on for no reason. The timings vary and there is no way of predicting it.

 

Yeah, I feel like I spend way too much time and energy trying to find and understand a pattern myself. But there are just too many variables to have anything reliable. Yes, horniness goes up a bit if I haven't had an orgasm in a few days, but sometimes I can be extremely horny the first day after, or feel completely nothing after a week of abstinence. So many other factors can outweighs that duration one. Sleep, for example, is a big one for me. Work stress, of course. Diet. Intense workouts seem to nullify my libido for the rest of the day. Life distractions. Social factors - too much socializing can wear me out, but sometimes socializing with novel women can crank it up. Hell, I've been suspicious that the number of days since last shaving my junk can affect it! Oh, and even restrictiveness of clothing.

There are enough random things that seem to influence it that it's become completely unpredictable for me. I miss the days of my 20s when I had 2 modes: pretty horny because I ejaculated yesterday, or unbearably horny because I didn't ejaculate yesterday so I definitely will be today.

So we had a break in the action the first part of this was 9:30 AM and now it’s 5:30 pm i’m waiting for the princess to come back from work so we plan to go have Mexican tonight. The fajitas are great anyway I think she said this morning that we were on day nine and we talked about shooting for 21. Mostly at my insistence. The first 5 days for me are the hardest, especially the first three. Maybe that's because I only get to orgasm about once a month and they are so intense that my brain is desperate for that hormonal deluge again.

 

Me too! After the first 5-7 days things calm down, then by day 10 I get that floaty, horny feeling and alternate between craving an orgasm while being teased and loving the feeling and horny haze the rest of the time.
