Coming up to my 6th week locked and 6th week in a cb6000s, I was getting a little swelling that was becoming a pain in the ass. Bought a cheap steel cage on Amazon. It's somewhere between 1.5 and 1.7 inches, which is shorter than the CB. Wore it for a few hours last night to test it. I've been wearing a 45 ring in the CB but the 40 ring on this new cage slips forward so have put some plasti dip on there Because it's shorter I'm bunched up in there and bulge out the rings and had indentations when I unlocked after wearing for a while. I mean like it looked like a freakin accordion. Will this be ok or cause me some issues? I've seen plenty of guys wearing devices too short so figured it couldn't hurt? And my foreskin pokes out the end of this thing and burns with every move so I guess I'll have to get some kind of cover or sleeve to go over the end of the device as I can't see another solution. I’d keep an eye out for edema too, if the lymph can’t get out it’ll build up.... I had a Chinese cage that FELT comfortable until we took it off after two days... it just didn’t work for us
Judging from your description both I would think. I wear a Queens Keep and the design has the bars running length ways as opposed to rings around the shaft. Also you may need a cage with a smaller pee hole at the end! You will always have to be aware that your foreskin can get caught. I'm afraid a lot will be trial and error. There are a fair amount of different designs of cheap cages to try. In the end though once you find the "right type" for you then if you can I would recommend a good quality made to measure cage. Remember some chaps who are well endowed can fit into extremely small cages but not everyone can. Slightly smaller is generally better than slightly to big.
I'll second Chaste J, having the bars run lengthwise was the key (haha) for me to be able to go overnight. It was a short cage from Amazon that finally did the trick. There's a lot of trial and error in this;I went through probably 15-20 cages over several years to find one that I can wear for any length of time.
