I was resizing myself for a new cage and tried my favourite cage I hadn’t worn for a while.
The lock was quite sticky and wouldn’t turn.
Anyway, it turned and snapped. It’s stuck in lock.
It’s a very snug cage so I guess I have an issue to deal with between now and when I fly next. I know from experience I can’t get out of it properly.
Accidentally self locked for quite a while now. Of course I’m turned on. I would never have done this on my own and now I’m stuck.

You may be able to turn the key in the lock with some needle nose pliers, or remove it so you can use the other key.

there's a video on YouTube showing you how to pick a chastity barrel lock. but you'd have to remove the broken portion of the key from the lock cylinder first.

Usually you can get to the tab on the end of the lock that rotates and hold the lock in the device. Just bend this with a screwdriver or needle nose pliers and the lock will withdraw.

Use the stub you have left to try and turn the lock but liberally use WD40 on the stuck portion first. Use lots of the WD40 and use a watchmakers screwdriver flat blade that fits on the locking tab section of the barrel. It should unlock quite readily then. Manipulating the cage by squeezing the two parts as well helps.

I used to be a safety officer at a previous job, so what I would've done was test the lock several times before putting it on after not using it for a while... But, since you're stuck in it, you might as well enjoy it.

Wish I had some advice (honestly wish I do), but this never happened to me, so the replies mentioned above would be as good as mine.

Well, sometimes fate intervenes. Unless there is a medical reason to get out, might as well stay in ;)

    Dont worry,
Airport security have seen it all.
it won't be a surprise for them.
If they ask about it just tell them its there for religious reasons.

Exactly. They can't discriminate for that, especially since there's no threat from it.

it's true, they have seen it all those guys.
Last time we flew my KH spoke to them about it before we were scanned.
    They were fine.

The broken piece in the lock, if pushed in fully, is in the correct position to lift the pins and rotate the barrel, removing it won't make it any easier to open.

All you need to do is get a rubber band, place it over the broken stub, then offer up the rest of the key. The rubber band will provide a grip between the key parts and you should be able to turn the lock. If the barrel was sticky and not wanting to turn before, then squirt a little WD40 into it to loosen it up, and then try the rubber band trick.
