I just finished catching up on your wonderful journey and it is truly encouraging. I’m personally at pg 1 line 1 of your story in my own life. I’ve struck out once with my wife and have done a lot of research and received some wonderful advice and encouragement here. My message sounds very similar to yours with the exception that I planned on doing it face to face. I do think your method is great approach and may switch to that way. As I have expressed on other threads here that due to certain life situations I will not have this conversation for a couple of weeks in which time I will seriously think about the letter approach as well. To be in your shoes in 16 months would be wonderful
