If your cage has a lock and key in the normal way, you know that you will eventually be released and for the meantime you are relieved of the temptation to masturbate, can enjoy the frustration and, if you have a partner, both enjoy the beneficial effect on your relationship.

With a permanent device the wearer always has the "key", or can get it as easily as anyone else. OK it might be a pillar drill, bolt cutters or a hack saw.

Unless the wearer accepts that eventually he is likely to suffer inconvenience, pain and possible premature death as a result of problems such as not being unable to receive medical treatment with the cage in place, the cage has to come off some time.

Given that he has the "key" and he will have to take the cage off some time, what is the incentive not to remove it straight away?

It might be an attractive fantasy but I suggest that, in practice, it has no advantage over a lock and key.

I am thinking of the look on my face when my KH or Mistress/Wife shows me the invoice/order for one of these and just smiles....

I am sure I know where my nightmares are coming from the rest of this week

Still it, there is a curiosity there for me.

We ordered this cage in titanium , not with the clips. Just wonder how it works over all. It seems to look secure and comfortable. The wife really likes it appearance

You could use a dremmel with a cut off disk to slip on and cut it without breaking the cage

I find the idea of this with a PA cage super hot but I don't think I could ever go for it, to me its vital to have an emergency key.

Having said that you could argue that while secure these are not tamper proof, if the wearer managed to fashion a tool to get it off then they could do at will, a burg lock with a metal wire tamper seal could technically be considered just as permanent and offer easier emergency access and also verification of non removal

I posted recently about this in another thread, but putting here too since it's also relevant to the topic; I ventured on my own solution for perm-locking my BA-28, described in my photo album :) To be paired with Loctite 638...

Sieht aus wie eine Schraube mit Sollbruchstelle. Has this already been used?

The top part shears at 1NM of torque, leaving a smooth rounded head. Not yet used, but I am told it will be soon.

get a torque wrench that breaks and cover up the markings. You have to torque until the wrench breaks without knowing where it is set. Works best probably if 1NM is near the high end of your settings.
