    Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..

    Yep, got our 1st official snow this morning. Got about 2 inches and my kid is going crazy to get out there!!! Didn't help that she called daddy to tell him and his response was, "Make sure you hit mommy with a snowball!" Thanks, darling. Nothing exciting to report, but I did have a bit of a brainstorm last night. I have to speak with another Goddess, but I'm thinking of doing a non traditional "exchange" this year. I have to speak with her and will let you all know the details if she's game. I hope so....this could be SOOOOO fun!!! :evilgrin0010:

    this snow we just got is nothing and i love it and my kids hate that it does not stick so you are lucky not to get the snowball thrown at you but if i was you i would punish him in some way for the comment he made :butterfly: :mad0055:

    that was about 2 inches on the car. It was wet enough that with some serious packing you could get a snowball out of it.
    The stuff is a bit on the watery side so be carefull driving, already had the joys of sliding in it while driving.

    Oh the devious mind of a Goddess. what ever are you up to know Goddess? We got just a dusting of snow down here so glad to report not enough for snowballs yet. It is coming I know it is but truth be told I would rather be in cancun sitting on a beach sipping some exotic drink after returning from some open water scuba session. The only thing better would be [CENSORED] LOL

    On the subject of driving in the snow, my sister doesn't drive in the snow anymore. She has had that many bumps and knocks in the snow she can't afford to risk it anymore. She now just gets others to drive her places in the snow these days.

    Amber it never snows here for Christmas. But it snows in early Feb for my birthday to make up for it :)

    A few years ago we wasn't "snowed in" Thou that would be cool. But I live in a big village/small town which is on top of a hill. And you know what the roads are like after just 1mm of snow fall So we was snowed into the town, I had planned to meet up with my mates from close by for my birthday but only a few could turn up as no one could get here :(

    Over here it seems the country shuts down after 1 inch of snow... Its on the news... They get the local counicals on TV saying Why are the gritters not out when they have been. You have warning like "DO NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE UNLESS REALLY NEED TO... Take spare clothes / food with you in the car. etc etc etc..."
    Only a quick youtube search but look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9fFYizJykE to get the idea of how we shutdown over a few inches of snow.

    I have family in Atlanta Georgia and they like you shut the town down if it ever snows there. It is obviously rare that it would but I remember the one time they got it. My uncle called and they had no idea how to act, let alone drive in it. LOL

    It's 1am...and I'm just sitting here watching the snow fall. It's so lovely that I don't want to go to bed. I should...6am comes very early, but I'm a sucker for a beautiful things. Plus, I had a chance to go out with some friends tonight and had to do the responsible thing and stay home. It's not safe to drive *yes, all my concerned friends* so I stayed home and enjoyed talking with a fellow Goddess on the Mansion. We had such a lovely chat. I have a feeling this is the start of a beautiful friendship! I shouldn't tell that we've also been plotting a little scheme between 2 of the chaste men on this fantastic site...but it's just so fun!!!! How wonderful to be able to plot a devious scheme with a fellow Goddess! :happy0011: I really hope this works out. Thanks for the chat, lovely lady. I know we'll talk again soon!!!! OK....Goddess Jen is off to bed. I'm going to look like the Bride of Frankenstein if I don't get some well needed beauty sleep. Night all :manga_blowkiss:
