I’ve just crossed the 1st week mark for being locked. Not having planned to do this, I didn’t know what to expect nor prepare for. I jumped headlong into it the night of 9/18 without any real idea of what I’d be contending with. Overall it’s been a good week and thought I’d share this newbie’s observations... I bought my Asylum 4 cage at a local adult store. Seeing them in person versus online is a different perspective. I chose this one for 3 reasons. 1) it’s a steel open cage design. 2) it curves down so less noticeable under my clothing. And 3) I could remove the urethra insert and use the hole for my PA to lock the head of my penis in place. Generally speaking I’m happy with the choice. The weight, while heavy, is not too bad. I’ve been a longtime steel cockring wearer so I may have been more accustomed. However, the cage is putting pressure on a piercing I have at the base of my shaft. This is uncomfortable and maybe causing irritation so I’ll be watching that. I’m increasing the size of the ball trap ring to see if that opens up more room. If it does great, if not that piercing will need to come out. Cages are much harder to clean than I thought, especially when wearing. Keep forgetting I can’t move my encased dick. LOL The various tips on CM have been helpful and I’m getting the hang of it. Haven’t got used to sitting and peeing 100% of the time. I did that sometimes with my PA but I adapted so I could stand and pee. Not sure if I’ll be able to do that with the cage. It’s very surreal to know you have a dick between your legs but when you grab it all you feel is a steel cage. I miss feeling my dick. My cage is like clockwork. 4:30-5am I’m being summarily awakened with morning wood. WOW, a trapped erection is intense and very uncomfortable. The harder my dick gets the more strain and discomfort. Can’t say it’s painful per se, but definitely know I’m locked. Again, the tips here to work through it have been tremendous. Had to travel to FL this week and was successfully able to remove it just before TSA and reinstall after. Took a little time to manage though, but was able to. I wore it when I went swimming and no issues under speedos or thong. I am finding the brass lock it came with is starting to rust on the inside. Any suggestion for a water proof replacement lock would be appreciated. As for the emotional aspect, I find I’m surprisingly content. I’m not angry, frustrated, or wanting to tear it off to get to my genitals. Similarly, the strong urge I had, prior to being caged, of sporting a hardon, masturbating frequently, and watching porn whenever I could, has all but melted away. I’m feeling very at ease in this caged state with no desire to be let free from it. I’m planning to post another update in a week or so. Thank you for letting me share!!!
