I had been locked for 30 days before I came down with what felt like the flu at first, bad body aches chills, headache. Sucks too cause it was our 9 year anniversary weekend. Then it turned into gastroentitst going on day 4 now, I'm really starting to lose interest in the kink right now. I said something to the misses today and she asked if I wanted the keys I said no it's fine. She then asked if I'm sure I said idk. I mean I don't wan to end a long stretch because of some stupid bug that will pass shorty, I hope.

I've definitely unlocked if I've been really sick.

No way! Not unless it is cage related. Like a sore spot.

Pretty much live in the cage. My wife has never suggested removing the cage for COVID, flu, GI upset etc. The only reason she has removed the cage (other than she wants me inside of her) was to speed up security screening at the airport but I was locked back up once on the other side of security.

If I get really sick with bodypain and suffering and so on I am allowed to take it off.
    But usually not.

Why should it? You surely don't feel better with it off and probably to unwell to notice it or care about it.

Oh I do feel better when really sick. I had Noro some months ago.

I rarely had such a pain in the body and balls. I t has been a big relief when the cage came off.

I voted that it should not come off when sick. There have been times I’ve been sick with it on and sick with it off. In the end I realize there is no reason it needs to come off unless the cage is somehow related to the problem.

I'm not unlocked for a illness and to be honest doesn't make any difference to how I feel
I had a operation on my leg last year so was obviously unlocked while I was in hospital but it was straight back on when got home

I got covid a few months ago and the cage came off.

IMO, when you are genuinely ill you should remove any extra burdens and stresses, so your mind and body can focus on recovery.

For us, the answer is "No".

But IF there was something really wrong and I needed an MRI or diagnostic imaging in that area, She'd have not issue with removing it.

Yes, if he gets sick while I have him in chastity, he can ask to be unlocked. It's one of the few times he doesn't get consequences for asking to be unlocked.

I reckon taking it off would leave me with a great deal of anxiety, why would i want to feel anxious as well as shitty.

Not being unlocked while sick was one of the signs that for us, it went from a game to something more serious.

Once, maybe a year or so after we started, I caught a really bad stomach flu. Felt miserable, had things coming out of me at both ends, missed work for a few days, ate saltines and ginger ale. You know.

Anyhow, after a week or so and I was feeling better, Mrs Edge mentioned that she hadn't even thought to unlock my cage. Not out of cruelty or anything, but because the thought so my never crossed her mind. She just forgets that I'm locked. And on some level she realized if I thought I really, really needed to be unlocked, I'd mention it.

Certainly, at the time I was too ill to be thinking about sex, but later on it was kind of hot to think that it had become such a "normal" part of our lives that she never thought twice about it.

She hasn't had to make that decision yet. I imagine that when presented with that situation she would leave me caged. I know better than to ask.

Kudos to you. That said, if there is a need, put your health first. Kink can always resume when you're better. It can't if you don't get better.

I rarely get sick, but after years of avoiding it I ended up getting a very short stint of covid. My fever lasted 3 days and was pretty bad, my Wife had started with covid before me, so we both were feeling awful. She had me take the cage off, once the fever broke I locked up again. I think that’s the only time I’ve been sick in the 4 years of wearing a cage. Allergies or colds, she’s not unlocking me lol

Nope, stays on unless there's some exceptional circumstances. Several years ago, I threw my back out pretty bad, was mostly crawling. I asked for the cage to come off because it made me need to move in just enough different a way to aggravate my back, and made it really hard to find a comfortable sleeping position.

Kidney Stones get an unlocking- other things don't. Stayed locked through a bout of Covid a while back. And about that week long beach vacation coming up? Mistress already informed me that I'm staying locked for that too.

No it does not come off for anything - even airport security means I just change from a full steel belt to a small plastic cage - then straight back into full steel.

As I can do anything and everything belted as has been proven in almost every circumstance up to now, she, just like Tom's experience basically accepted that I am belted permanently in all situations and that's the way it is - it is never a consideration or even a discussion, even when having flu, GI or anything else up to know.

No not for me, I am not trusted. Only comes off for flying when passing through security then straight back on.
