    It’s not exactly a secret that even in our presumably progressive era, heterosexual relationships (and, ahem, the women in them) are still plagued by all kinds of gendered double standards and power imbalances. Just take a look at some (unfortunate) stats the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics dropped earlier this year, which revealed women in hetero relationships spent nearly twice as much time as their male partners on chores, general household management, and childcare, despite also working full-time. (Sigh.) But what if those traditional gender roles were reversed? Enter: female-led relationships.​

    Watching "Godless" on Netflix, episode 5. At 35:43 the character Callie Dunne is wearing a key on her necklace. Almost zero likelihood of having any connection to chastity, but I notice that I'm watching for key necklaces all the time now! o_O

    Feels pretty presumptuous that the deceased would want the mortician to remove his cage. I've given some consideration to as to whether I'd want to be buried in my cage.

    I would question the mortician's decision to try and remove the cage
    what were the intentions for said cage after? ... give it to his family ..presumably most would not know about it and would be unnecessarily embarrassed
    I'd certainly want mine leaving on.

    I was at the builders merchants this morning, and was served by the cis/female who I would say identified as non-binary. She wore an obviously BDSM leather collar with ring at front. I said "Nice collar, is it locked on?"
    "No but my girlfriend likes me to wear it, and she lives miles away" We chatted a little bit and hardly anyone had noticed at work, and I was the first to say anything. I could see I'd surprised them a bit, and they were very slightly flustered, until I shared that I was living a similar lifestyle, locked unless needed (glancing down) . Don't think they were locked but definitely proud to be owned. It was a really positive chat. I reckon I'm gonna get a big smile next time I go in there, from my new friend.
